Oblivion is still fun to come back to because of the modding community. The original content of the game had some fun dynamics like the guild subplots, but the main story was kind of dull. Fallout 3 is better, Dragon Age is better, etc.

Yakuza 3 is a really good game but I never got past 10 hours in it because of the horrid camera control that keeps jerking the in-game perspective around. Every time when I play ~1-2 hours or so I start getting claustrophobic / dizzy as if I'm car-sick... It's really too bad because I was enjoying the game too, but I'm not gonna keep playing a game that makes me want to throw up =(

I think games with unavoidable permanent deaths of the main character are pretty cool, as long as the deaths occur near the end of the game. Such a device just adds another dramatic layer... one gets tired of games in which the main character and his or her faction prevail all the time, after all.
