I promote people buying both consoles if they can afford it. You're the only type of person who hates people just because they are true gamers and you're not. I happen to fall under the same category of people who bought a Wii and regret the crap out of it.
It's definitely made for children, as my nephew and niece enjoys it.
But after beating SMG, Zelda, and playing MGS: Twin snakes a million times. The Wii is a waste of money.

It depends on the demographic. Obviously a 15-16 year old most likely doesn't work. And in summer days, they will hardly eat or sleep lol. So more than likely they are the ones hitting those high numbers.
Then again, I guess it's too general. There are also people 25 years old or older who have jobs that are still crazy addicted to video games.
So I'm with you on that one.
Yeah I'm also in the 15-20 range. But it can vary often. Some weeks I'll be lucky to get 2 or 3 hours of gaming. Most of my time is dedicated to work, my girlfriend, my family, and working on cars. Gaming is my last priority but something I need time for myself to stay sane.
And oh yeah, of course browse the most elite website for games with hundreds of gaming experts. N4G! lol

lol yeah, I forgot about that. My PS3 also came with an ethernet cable. But in this day and age where WiFi is really the norm. An ethernet cable is only needed on the 360.
I agree that a $299.99 price point will sell like hot cakes. It's almost confirmed a lot of people WANT a PS3, but cant afford one.
IMO they should have just repackaged the 40gb with the DS3, and dropped that price down to at least $349.99. But I guess fitting a larger HDD isn't that expensive, and like the above commentors said. It's no use for Sony if they aren't making any profit.
