Built-in HD-DVD drive? HDMI? 1080P? Arent' all these things the same things you Xbox owners are claiming useless for games? I wonder what's it going to be priced at. While the Elite is already priced at $449, this is definitely hitting the $500 plus range. But nonetheless, if this RUMOR comes out to be true. M$ is basically doing what they've always done to consumers ever since windows. This is almost like XBOX all over again. Build an install base, and abandon them.
I love GT5. And I'm STILL buying this game as well. I always enjoyed the codemaster's racing games since Colin McRae's WRC Rally 2004, 2005, and DiRT.

to be honest, i can forsee MGS4 on the 360 later in the future. I know it's a PS3 exclusive. Infact I bought a PS3 just to play this game. But honestly, look at the history of Konami and the MGS series. First they were with NES with the original metal gears. Then with MGS 1 it showcased on PS1. However, later down the line after MGS2 was made for the PS2. They remade MGS Twin Snakes for the game cube. Then went on to make MGS2 subsistence for the original XBOX. Which didn't do so well seeing ...
Yeah I expect the worldwide install base of the 360 by the end of 2008 to be somewhere near 25 million. While the install base of the PS3 to be somewhere around 20 million. I agree, while the PS3 will have big franchises coming, there's no way it's going to pass the 360's install base.
Why is that when you people think Halo is superior to other Series you go and say it's going to your system? All it shows is that you're not happy with Halo, and you want real big titles like MGS4 and Final Fantasy. Oh and note that it's not just FFXIII, there's also FFvsXIII. Two titles, that even at the end of the trailers say "Playstation 3 Only"

I'd rather pay $400 for a 40gb PS3 and be able to play games, watch BD's, listen to music, go on the internet with the web browser, play online, remote play with my psp, etc. etc. than a standalone player that does nothing but watch bd's.

the 360 don't support mouse and keyboard. good luck handling something like starcraft 2. the vicious online battles of starcraft 1 you needed to be quick and fast with your strategies or else your doomed. and besides, blizzard already said they aren't going to consoles.

The 360 will probably get a MGS4: Substance 1, MGS4: Substance 2, and MGS4: Substance 3. It's broken down into 3 different games because microsoft wants to maximize profits and told Konami to just put MGS4: Substance 1 as the ending of the game. Substance 2 as the beginning of the game, and Substance 3 as the middle of the game and charge $59.99 each.

Although this is excellent news for MGS4. It just goes to show the interest of the game is beyond the universe. It's even beyond Halo 3. Why is it beyond Halo 3?
