Soooo basically the guy is complaining that no hardcore games are going to the Wii from Ubisoft. Is anyone REALLY that surprised?
Strange considering they gave Haze the same score 34/40
There were still things that could have been fixed that did not get fixed in NG II (at least according to the reviews)
Most notably the camera angles. It just goes to show how much they didn't change from the previous engine. That's one thing even a fan of the series cant dispute.
As for the difficulty, it's going to be only based by opinion. Some gamers are just better than the others, and it goes for review sites as well. So we'll see some praising the difficulty a...
lol i've noticed that's the new trend of excuses for both fanbases now. "Sony paid for that review" or "Microsoft paid for that review"
what the hell folks? you guys think Sony or Microsoft really act like childish fanboys and throw things at each other? Oh wait... now that I think about it, Microsoft does do things like that. "What you can do in the first 5 minutes of GTA IV"
lol it's probably why Haze got a 4.5/10 instead of a 6/10 on IGN. Jeff Haynes who reviewed the game probably cant stop thinking about MGS4. So after playing Haze, he's probably like "What the F*CK!?!? What is this Sh*t? Damn it... I want some more MGS4"
jelly boobs can only go so far my friend. They need to just downright give a pair of 3D glasses packed with every game, and only make the Jelly Boobs 3D. They will definitely get sales from the porn fanbase which is 99% of guys around the world. lol
I think 1up just forgot that they're reviewing the X360 version. They probably for some reason think it's for the PS3. So now it boils down that It's Sony's Fault that Ninja Gaiden II is getting 7/10s.
/sarcasm
It's not that people have something against a developer who speaks their mind, it's just that Itagaki in particular will downplay other developers and other games as if he was the god of all developers.
This is coming from a guy who loves guys
As much as I hate Itagaki's Attitude towards everybody else in the gaming industry and making himself look like the king of developers.
You guys are blowing all this a bit out of proportion. It's not like the game crawls at 15 frames per second or anything. All they said is that there's some "slow down" in the heavier parts of the action. To me if it's just a slight dip in the frame rate, it's not gonna ruin the game.
However in contrast I guess people can ...
So that includes Turning Point, Conflict Denied Ops, Jericho, Blacksite Area 51, and Vampire Rain.
No thanks.
lol first it was the "Microsoft paid for the lower reviews" and now it's Sony? Damn fanboy logic is hilariously stupid.
It's really not bad considering how far along they're coming with the PS3 hardware. It still plays excellent on that console, and the differences between the 360 and PS3 are so minimal to even be judged.
In my book Codemasters did an excellent job for PS3, 360, and PC for GRID.
Do people remember the kind of articles and fanboy comments that came out back in 2006?
"The PS3 will never have 360 graphics"
"The Cell cant do 360 games&qu...
MGS4 is a PS3 exclusive. Which means to some websites like gamespot it will be automatically deducted -2 points. Of course with something like
"Cutscenes are too movie-like"
"Gameplay has too much variety"
"30 hours too long for Single Player"
"Not coming to Xbox360"
One thing DMC4 does really excellent is the cutscenes though. I mean some of it looks almost CG, especially the last boss cutscenes. It also has some of the best motion blur effects ever seen in today's video games so far.
I take it you are talking about NG:S's optional HDD install? Yes it did help with load times, but I'm not too sure if it helped with frame rates or anything. Infact I could recall NG:S still ran buttery smooth without the install.
I think the main factor of NG2's graphical problems could be because there's more detail than NG:S in terms of character models, size of the locations, and more things going on at once.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma was native 1280x720 just like NG2. Infact it looks like they used the same engine and revamped a few things. And note that Review scores don't generally mean less or better sales. Look at PS2 50 cent Bulletproof, horrible reviews but it actually sold pretty damn well.
However the main reason for Ninja Gaiden's overall lackluster sales I think has something to do with it's difficulty. It's just not beginniner friendly, and thus scares a lot of people away. It's ...
LaChance you're getting really annoying by constantly bringing up other games that has nothing to do with NG2. If NG2 got an 8/10, 9/10, 7/10, or whatever score it HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANY OTHER GAMES!!!
Lachance, what in the world does Uncharted have anything to do with this?
It bothers me that mostly everything listed in the article is based off Opinion. For him to put "Fact" or "Fiction" makes his whole article pointless.
