Pokemon is a great franchise. They've gotten better with each game and continue to do so. Of course they're not perfect games but then again what is? Looking forward to black and white stateside.

Watching youtube videos dont compare to the likes of God of War as already mentioned, or Uncharted for instance. these would kill it much faster. The iPhone can leave playing GBA games for 2-3 hours tops before it needs a recharge.

I want a gaming system. Having it as a phone means that Sony wont be able to do exactly what they want with it. The phone companies will have some say in the pricing structure. I also think it will means it'll be a less powerful machine. Lets face it, the iPhone can play pretty games but that battery is dead way too fast! Phones aren't meant to be REAL gaming machines. The meaningful choices argument is dumb as well...I played, and really enjoyed Dragon Age. However, those "meaningful" choices still lead to the same ending. Oh, I got to choose to get rid of some party members here and there. Big freakin' whoop! It was a great game but those "choices" still didn't effect where the game actually went. It effected how a few NPC's talked to me =/
The linear argument is the most ridiculous criticism to happen to games in years. Every RPG HAS to Open World or its a terrible game? Bullshit! While other genres recycle the same garbage over and over whilst getting praised for it.

The PS3 wasn't really being used to its full potential by Devs until the last couple years really. Of course there were gems like MGS4, but those were rare. Now its like every exclusive does something that another exclusive didn't do. Sony's first party studios continue to take each new game to another level.
