Interesting that Dead Space 2 has an on-line pass code.
Sony should use that for ALL games. And it could unlock free DLC etc. etc. as in incentive to buy.
It won't stop piracy but if you want the full experience you'd HAVE to buy the game, not steal it.
If this is real (and it's doubtful) then Sony will have just won the NEXT generation (of handhelds).
I think Sony should be congratulated on the back touch-screen inovation, I bet Nintendo & Apple will copy that ASAP! And hopefully not before NPG launches.
REALLY fed up of this now :'(
Probably :'(
Getting one anyway :D
WOW!!!
Day 1 purchase, if the price is right! :D
"lol @ microsofttranslator.com"
Yeah, funny that! :D
Use babel fish to translate the original page, it's slightly better than the MS one :)
I know you've gotta keep moving to stay alive, but wish he'd stand still and admire the scenery a bit.
Looking really great! :)
But which is best? There's only one way to find out..... FIIIIGHT!!! :)
Have "OR", "AND" and "XOR" gates which you can squash into a microchip will mean someone's gonna build a working ZX81!! Lol!!
:)
p.s. Shame the "unlock all tutorials" didn't unlock my tools box in my popit menu. I had to go through some tutorials which were basically the same as LBP 1 before it was available. Oh well, it's done now.
Lol! :)
If I were Sony I'd just embed some code into all new games which checks for CFW, and if found either crashes the game/console, or bricks the console :)
Lots of uncompressed audio then? :)
Good, make it as huge as posssible so at least when people steal it they'll use up their download limits.
Yes, I work with someone who is running CFW and has games running off an external HDD. He's even been on-line with it and no ban yet.
That was quick.
Sigh! :'(
Nice! :D
Frozen Dam was great in the beta, so as long as they haven't broken that map somehow then that 1 map will keep me happy for quite a while :)
If true, GREAT! Doesn't stop people playing off-line though, sadly.
A blu-ray "finger-print" was mentioned just before the launch of PS3, so maybe this is what they meant(?).
I'm a bit sceptical though because Sony don't talk about how their security works because they don't want to give any clues to the hackers.
Oh no! :'(
Okay, I'm getting really REALLY fed up of all this stuff now!! :-\
Sony please take action! If that means there's a new FW to install then fine, whatever it takes.
I thought the blu-ray disc had a finger-print which could not be copied? So just make games that can ONLY be played off the blu-ray disc; or am I over simplifying the issue? :)
Where can I pre-order? Want one!!!! :D
Probably wouldn't use it much, like my PSP 3000, but hey, it's a super cool gadget like the iPhone is.
NPG = WIN
