Will there be a PS5? Sounds weird... Just a few years ago people were talking about the end of consoles, their arguments are still of some value today. The PS4 is selling more than well, but still doesn't feel like a complete success to me: Idk, I loved my PS1, PS2 and 3 way more.

Yes! if you have a lot of good games... That wasn't the case with the Wii U at launch, and even now... I mean it's good enough now but it definitely pales next to the Wii (2 Zelda original games, 2 Galaxy games, Kart/Paper/Smash/Wario, Metroid original game and collection, Puzzle games, a lot of RPG's, DKC... and I can keep going and going and going and never ending this list)

My logic is not faulty.
The DS, 360, PS3, 3DS, PS4 are very different than its predecessors. Here Nintendo knows they're gonna sell basically the same experience (slightly improved and with a gimmick: the switch thing)...
And I have a prove: They decided to recall the Wii U rather than cut its price.
People that buy a Wii U at a cut price now, probably won't buy a Switch in a few months.
I'm getting the Wii U version. I'm not gonna buy the switch at launch... I'll wait a year maybe, idk.

I know Mistwalker is developing something, but probably gonna end up in a mobile platform. MS should Patron them to develop an awesome RPG for the scorpio thing... It doesn't need to be like super complex FFXV kind of game. Just fun and old school-ish.
They made The Last Story just 5 years ago, so the talent is definitely there.
PS4 has a lot more exclusives. But I don't think is fair to compare it with the Switch, cause that's a Launch line-up... and it looks Ok I think for what it is (without Zelda that would be bad).
The Xbone hasn't been in the game for some time now, but they have a strong loyal fan base that will support them no matter what. So, good year

Well... first of all, I think, for new IP's to get expand and sequels, you need to try with... new IP's. I mean you can't release a Forza game every 6 months and then expect a new IP will magically grow out of that... you also need the new IP to be actually good, fresh and original to really be considered new.
