According to sources, the problem can be traced to Xbox One itself, which puts a lot of pressure on its developers. Lionhead and Platinum Games have both claimed that Xbox One would sometimes have unrealistic demands.

Third party support for the 3DS was strong. That's what Nintendo is planning. It's a hybrid between a portable and a console... That's the plan. Maybe it doesn't work, but I'm pretty sure that if Nintendo made a similar console to the PS4 or the Xbone, people wouldn't buy that. Is just not their market.
Still, of course it is not perfect: they need to lower the price and get more games on it.
