I'd love a remake but SE would be like .... XENOGEARS remake ....coming in episodes .... Episode 1: escape from Lahan ... Episode 2: The Black Forest..ect
This is exactly how I imaged what a classic remake should be and look like ..... so few developers actually get it right ... I feel the nostalgia tingling through my bones
I haven't play 9 in ages but in hindsight it's the last great FF that did everything right .. Great lovable characters , story was charming , cutscenes were amazing , the world was really fleshed out , battle system was on point , minigames!!!!!!... flying chocobo's .Classic love story without all the craziness of the other love story entries (7,8,10 .. 10 did make me cry though... they were manly tears lol)
I was hoping that it would have come to the ps3 with the ps1 classics but never did :(

The way I see it, the PS4 is a clean slate going into the future of a new digital age . Two years in and all of a sudden people wanna make an uproar about BC just because MS did it . I went in buying my ps4 knowing full well it wasn't going to get BC with ps 1 2 & 3 games so when ps2 emulation was announced it was quite a surprise .It's the reason sony ditched the custom Processors (emotion engine, the cell ) for a more industry standard hardware to future proof content for future...
also I've always wanted to play Balders Gate 1+2 , heard they were amazing , Xenosaga trilogy , Valkarie Profile 2, FF12 would be nice, Black would look great enhanced, Timesplitters 2 would be heaven
I'd love to play x-men legands 2 again over psn and enhanced or a new xmen legends in general
here we go again , I feel if people are still holding on to ps2 discs then they would still have their ps2s to play them ..; if I had the original star wars trilogy on vhs do I feel I should get the enhanced editions on dvd or bluray for free.....no . Not how the world works .. People should be lucky to get to revisit some older games now without having to go to ebay or amazon and find console and games which would cost more in the long run ..

Only rpgs I've really enjoyed in the past 7-8 years are Demon Souls ,BloodBorne and Skyrim . DS and BB hit the sweet spot in length of about 40-60 hours plus great replayabilty with great combat and pvp and skyrim is well .... just a fun mindless adventure ... Dragons yo ..400+ hours and i hardly ever got bored
I've played almost all the main entries in the series from FF5 and up and 13 was the only game that I never beat (even played both mmo's and tactics) . Almost all style and no substance , I felt the combat was mindless and frustrating at times . 25 Hours in I just gave up, nothing about 13 sucked me in from the combat to characters and story. It was a total 360 from what the FF brand stood for me .... More like the Black sheep of the series

I can only see next gen coming early is if some sort of new technology is being pushed. If VR takes off and they fully integrate it into the system .... otherwise I'm in no hurry , we've barely tapped into this gen and with longer development cycles we haven't really see this gens full potential
Would like to play this again since I never had a chance to beat it the first time when a got the ylod on my first ps3 and sold it regretfully . Beautiful game and awesome unique gameplay !!!
As much as I'm hyped for VR ,, like all new tech I usually wait a year or unless there's a game or app that I must have ..... which I just don't see for quite a few years honestly . I'm gonna hold off until at least the first price cut .. Sword art online type worlds and games is what i want that fully utilizes the tech. I have a feeling the first few years will be nothing but ports and supported apps ,, like ff14 being supported with vr tech but never fully utilized .
