It'll be march, just before the fiscal year ends, naughty dog will have been powering through money for development so they'll wanna maximise profits for the next fiscal year.
If they do as appallingly next gen as they have this they may just do that. At the end of the day, it's m$ they'll do what's best for their pockets and the current model can't be lining them.

I don't play fortnite or rocket league but I'm pleased for the people that do and own multiple consoles or have friend on different platforms. A more flexible network is always good for the consumer.

If naughty dog exclusively made top down games then went to 3rd person, you can bet your ass there's but uproar from the existing fan base for the inclusion of a top-down view.
Rockstar did it in GTA l. They had top down, cinematic, 3rd person and now 1st. Which is amazing fan service.

First person rarely works, the most important reason why... Your player always looks too short. Like they place the camera in the chest. I've played the majority of fp games and this is still an issue.
Also they didn't have to say it, they have a history of making 3rd person games, so you come to assume the next title would be what more of what they do.

Maybe different levels of it tho, some planets have prehistoric intelligent life, some have futuristic advancements and anywhere in between.
I'd like to see more biomes on a planet between 1 and 10 or something.

No other developer would stick with it as hello games have, it may have been a sketchy start (i was as pissed as anyone) but they have actually turned this game around and have promised to keep at if for the foreseeable future.
Most devs would release then instantly charge for the amount of content hello have thrown in.
Updates as big as $20 DLC packs. There's more in there now than i expected at launch yet they are still throwing in big content update for fre...
