The game is not perfect, it has some minor annoyances so if you're the kinda person who gets irritated at something like unnecessary cut scene transitions, move on, don't play it cos you'll trash it for the wrong reasons. The little touches are great. Like having to cut the speakers before turning the power on so the noise doesn't attract a horde. Even simple fetch quests become interesting. I have never played a game where a simple fetch quest is actually intense and challenging. Next time I'm told to collect lavender, I'm taking nades.
It's really not as far off from Sonys big games as people are making out. I'd give this game a solid 8/10. Maybe even a 9 tbh. I'm preferring it to the majority of games that have come out this year. Nothing like running outta fuel, ammo and health and stumbling into a 400 strong freaker horse xD
I really hope it does, it's such a good game!!!! Sure it has its issues but they're minor. Bend have them self a really solid IP that gets more right than it gets work. Personally I think it's better than rdr2. Everything people complained about in rdr2, dg gets right..

Kwiet I think he's basing that on the last 2 generations. Halo, gears, forza repeat. For 2!? Yes 2!? Generations. That's what now 13/14 years? That's how long its taken them to realise they actually need games on a games console.
There may be more exclusives next gen but don't expect much more than GAAS.
Expect most big games from here out to have a next gen update.

As a rule I don't use reviews at all, I can usually tell in a gameplay video if I'm going to enjoy the experience. The controversy around the low scores was hard to avoid.
