OT: 3 hours? Seems like a lot, but after mgs4 everything else pales in comparison (related to cutscenes). And why are people bringing up Uncharted (2?)? It didn't have THAT long cutscenes...
So far this gen I've played two games that I think deserve a perfect score, one of them is UC2, the other is the glitchiest game I've ever played and that's Mass Effect. I really don't think glitches such as the ones portrayed here, or even bad ones such as the ones in ME should warrent a lower score as long as the game experience remains a positive one.
UC2 froze on me once, and I noticed some minor clipping issues, other than that it was a smooth ride. ME had so many glitches...
Yeah, I think he meant the core experience... Like, graphics, gameplay, control etc.
Because they don't get the same amount of profit from selling coupons as they do from selling umd's, maybe? (I'm asking, I don't actually know)

Actually yeah, Bioware have been extremely clear that Mass Effect is a trilogy in which all games have to be played to fully grasp the game and story, so yeah Bioware is actually constructing Mass Effect 2 around the idea that the player already finished Mass Effect 1. Some of us enjoy actually seing our friends once in a while... and there are few things in life (imo) that are funnier than seing your friends face as you pwn + teabag/chainsaw/whatever him/her. For me there's just no way online co-op or competitive play compares to being in the house and playing on the same tv. And, when you get tired of playing, you grab a beer and chill with your buddie!
