For gods sake, Japan has a strong Yen right now. Japan is strong while American dollar is a little weaker. Thus, it converts to a higher amount in American dollars. Japan having a strong Yen does not mean the rest of the world has to pay a higher price for it. Please, people need to stop making stupid assumptions. Nintendo told us that price and launch details for America would be revealed at a later time FOR A REASON, because the price they gave at Japan is not the price for America. I...
The Yen is currently strong right now which is also why it converts to 300. Just because Japan has a strong Yen right now doesn't mean that every other region gets charged more, Nintendo figures out the price according to economic factors and such, which is EXACTLY why Nintendo said American launch details and price would be announced at a later date. Otherwise they would have just said, this is the price, convert it to your currency and that's what you'll pay.
Maybe you forgot the price of the 3D capable HDTV, as well as the price of glasses? Adds quite a bit to that 300 dollar price huh? Just because 25k yen converts to 300 dollars in todays exchange rate DOES NOT mean thats how much it will cost here......jesus
You're getting disagrees for being a troll. Give me a break, you calling anyone else a troll is just hysterical. Why the hell are you even comparing the two systems?
If you seriously think Call of Duty is desperate for publicity, I'm honestly not sure what planet you live on.
Ugh, I really don't want to wait that long :(. But 250 is pretty much what I expected.
You may respect someone for having such strong beliefs, but I have absolutely NO respect for people that are that much of an extremist in their ideals. I have no respect for any kind of an extremist, not just religion. You're just a sheep and a pawn when you get to that level of extremist. And thats what all these Taliban sheep are, pawns for the scumbags that run the show.
We all know "nazi" zombies are going to be included in the prestige edition of the game or whatever. The real question is whether or not they are going to create an entirely new and improved zombies game.
Thats clearly not a zombie in the video. First, like he said above, you can see the guys name. Second, the "zombie" shoots him right before he shoots the flamethrower. So unless Zombies can now be playable, and have guns or a long range attack as well, it wasn't zombies footage.
@genoclaude, if you think this Dante is more Japanese and the old Dante is more western, you clearly don't have a CLUE about Japan or their style of games. Dante was exactly the type of character you would expect to come out of Japan with his whole attitude, his hair and his character design. This new Dante is EXACTLY the kind of character I would expect out of a western studio trying to handle a Japanese franchise.
I know, every single gaming publication or website basically calls this a Team Ninja game. Its pretty annoying when you hear them chew out a game without merit, but also not even knowing who developed the game.
That dumb feminist at G4 who started this whole thing really did a wonderful job getting all these other idiots to hop on her little feminist bandwagon. It's really annoying.
Did you guys catch the end where it said Kotick wants to repackage cutscenes from a video game, only containing the cutscenes from the game, and sell it as $30 movies.
That seriously made me laugh. Really hard. What a cockbag.
Isn't he basically dissing his own platform? Last time I checked, "Games for Windows" was a Microsoft thing.
Maybe I'm just being delusional. Or maybe Kudo is an asshat.
Also, just wanted to point out to all you guys saying "2 months is too soon after announcing the date in September, thats not enough time."
Well, in September 2006 Nintendo held a press conference to announce the Wii's release date, which was just two months later in November. And for the DS, they held a press conference in OCTOBER to announce its release one month later in November.
Nintendo is very predictable. 3DS is launching November 20-2...
Why is that? You know the original DS launched in the US first, on November 21 2004, while Japan got it on December 2.
Nintendo historically likes to launch new systems in late November, and we already know Nintendo said "by March 2011" so November sounds right to me. There's no way in hell Nintendo would want to miss out on the Holiday rush for such a hot new handheld, this thing will fly off the shelves for XMas. If they launch in January-March, that would ...
No, don't take it the wrong way, he has a point. which I'm sure you'll understand when you get your hands on it and try. There's a reason Nintendo has the game guide the characters on screen in certain ways. When you get THAT realistic like the Move is, it's incredibly hard to accurately judge things when you're not actually hitting something but rather looking at a TV screen as your base of reference. It's a lot harder to judge depth and how to swing etc. when...
Right off the bat, these environments look ten times more like a true FF than FF13 was. I was skeptical and lost all hope in Square, but this restored just a little bit more faith. I'm really starting to believe it now that the 360 really gimped FF13. I at first thought it was just some piss poor design decisions, but now its more and more obvious that they wanted to structure the game a certain way in order to be on 360.
Ridge Racer for PSP ran at 60fps. So whats your point? Sonic Adventure ran at 60fps on Dreamcast too. Framerate is meaningless if you don't know the quality of the visuals.
Not that the visuals won't be impressive or anything :P. I'm guessing this thing will have visuals slightly below 360, and probably better than 3DS.
Kudo Tsunoda has got to be one of the biggest douchebags in the industry. Not just for this comment (which is douchey enough), but just in general, he looks and talks like a complete clown.
Why do people need to feel offended over every little thing? These feminists get all worked up over so many things that aren't intentional or really all that offensive and take things way out of context.
If Japanese women aren't offended by it, then why should you be? Don't play the victim for every little thing that isn't even directed towards you. Its incredibly smug and obnoxious. Just because we live in a culture that fosters and babies all the sensi...
You mean the ports that had the exact same graphics as the n64 versions, only in progressive scan?
