It's okay, you where expressing your reasons for being loyal to Sony. I was expressing my disappointment with them because of their failures to capitalize on what what I perceived to be possible leadership positions. They have a history of this. Look at the e-readers. Sony made these years before the Kindle.
In either case, thanks for the reply.
Rage is and awesome game. Unless you played it you wouldn't know.
Visually its hot, action is hot and the co-op mission kick ass.
They have nothing to be worried about.
I say, make Doom 4. Just make sure to light it up this time. ID Tech 5 is a fantastic engine.
Wrong. This was handled EXPERTLY. Much like the sewer missions in Rage.
Kudos must be given to the developers for coming up with creative ways of implementing and "weaving" these paid DLC contents into the main gain that seem organic and not attached and dangled like and appendage.
The Catwoman moments are indeed breaks from the main story line, but they come at key moments and its done st just the right time, you also get specific riddle trophy scattered ab...
I'll give you a quick review.
Stop making this game, re-design it so that it's actually fun to play instead of this middle of the road stuff they got going on and capitalize on what the premise is. There is A LOT MORE you can do when you are a dictator of a country other than place buildings down and follow your tourist. Did these devs even go to Cuba?
I barely used my PS3, Sony has effectively lost the media wars. They won the battle between HD/DVD Vs Blu-Ray but failed to capitalize on that victory.
So what does PS4 mean?
Nothing.
I don't see what this device can possibly mean, or do.
$600, $700, $300 to play the few titles that I like from Sony. For what, I got a lot a mileage from them as a Blu-ray player but thanks to them, I might have to choose a streaming company soon enough, so ...
Comes with everything INCLUDING Awakenings.
Thank GOD!
Just make more co-op missions. Deathmatch are a dime a dozen. Co-op is where its at.
When was the used game market beloved?
I for one hated it.
I got no problem with buying new. Somebody got to support the devs and publishers cause Gamestop wasn't doing it.
Yep, have to agree.
Way to much info on this game. I'm sick of hearing about it already.
Every time I see the Caped Crusader or a picture resembling Batman or the rogues gallery I skip it with the swiftness.
Just let the game come out and be done with it already.
WTF!
About time.
These guys are BETTER than Rare any day.
Rare is stuck doing Avatar clothes.
Twisted P, you the sh*t!
Same sh*t that happens now a days.
There are TONS of games that are better than the mainstream games, but get overlooked cause the masses like quick and dirty fixes.
System Shock 2 was amazing and like I said there are many games that have substance that are amazing, but even thinking about the state of gaming puts me to sleep.
Let me go play End War and R.U.S.E I'm tired of COD.
Hated this game.
It was improved over the first, no doubt.
But this game for all its real estate lacked soul and fun. I saided before and I'll repeat it again. Sandbox, "open world" games are good for putting (so called) missions on a huge map, but they lack variety, personality and mission structure.
Cant tell a cohesive story like that.
Give me a game, with more soul, fun, action and streamlined and I'll t...
I would hope that when you lay down $65 bones for a Spider-Man game the entire FUN factor isn't decided on whether or not you are swinging freely around in NYC.
That's ludicrous.
Beenox did it right with Shattered Dimensions. Some rough spots, but overall it was great.
They might of streamlined things a bit, but I never felt more like Spider-Man than when I played that game.
Not "swinging" around aimlessly, ...
I think IGN's envelope was a little thin this month for a review score this low.
The game is not as good as Shattered Dimensions, but its NOT a 4.5 either.
More like a 7, and for the love of Christ STOP mentioning Spider-Man 2 as the best Spider-man game. I hate open world games for every single superhero game.
Beenox did a wonderful job with the last one. They just needed more of that, not less of it.
Rage is dope.
A keeper. Its long, its fun, it's beautiful to look at. It has varied things to do. What more could you want from your shooter?
You rock Id! Don't worry about haters, its easy to criticize, its harder to create.
There aint a damn thing wrong with your game.
Who the f*ck is Dane Cook and why should I care what he prefers?
Play what YOU want.
Say WHAT!
This game is hot as hell!
Day one purchase. EASY.
The only reason I stopped playing is cause its a BETA and its the one map and I am not 100% percent sure that the time invested carries over to the finished game so I don't want burnout.
Other than that. I'd be playing it right now.
It's awesome in every way and yes its NOT a direct competitor to Call of Duty which I think is a positive not a negative.
Unless you can play Gears 3 or Killzone 3 at 60 FPS and get that living room experience from my mobile device, you can keep "fearing" all you want.
I HIGHLY doubt that mobile gaming will supplant my couch and 70inch TV in the next 10 years.
Don't care. Tired of Capcom trying to milk my d*ck.
Tim Willits the creative director of Id described the sewer missions as "side quests". Catwoman can also be described as side quest even though she is weaved into the story line, simply because you play her 4 times in the main game. For that matter Nightwing, Robin and whatever else will come down the pike can be considered "side quests" also. If not flat out just for the challenge maps.
My point was (I just update before I saw your response) that if you b...
