Why does conversation like this always turn into who has the biggest d!ck contest?
This isn't about who ordered the CE of Mass Effect.
I ordered the CE edition and this news is horrible.
Its the intent and what is to come behind it that sends shivers down my spine.
I cancelled my order and I stand by the masses that will buy the standard edition to stand with the masses.
Rather than having a unifying voice and say...
Everything matters.
Everything gets recorded.
You speak with your dollars.

but you have to get your facts straight.
CE buyers get all for free, according to EA's policies they can add or subtract anything they want from any offer. That's how they where able to bump up the signature edition for free for folks that pre-ordered Dragon Age 2.
Standard edition buyers of ME3 must buy what is perceived to be and what very well likely a central character to the Mass Effect mythos for an extra 10 dollars.
I was always particular to ProGen myself. But I would love it if this series was Windows 7 compatible. I lost hours of my life on this game. It was more addicting than wet crack.

Lots of use have said "I am not buying this DLC based on principle" but EA and Bioware will see the final numbers.

This game hovers at around 6 AT BEST and that's because the coop is decent.
How can we make this any more clear. The issue isn't the process of how they go about making DLC. The issue is wwhy are they penalizing customers of the standard edition for not buying the CE edition.

This IS a slap across the ballz to paying customers of the standard edition, which I guarantee you will be in much bigger quantities than the already sold out CE edition.

I'd have to agree with you there, in fact I'll go a step further.
At first glance it would appear that KoA has one up on Skyrim because of the combat and its presentation.
I mean in Skyrim, even after you save the world, become the leader of each faction and so forth the common folk still ask if you are the one that fetches the mead..

I am 100% behind charging for locked content behind used games. Why? because the devs don't see a dime.
But this, this is wrong.
Why should the standard edition buyers be penalized from an important character, a Prothean, a race central to the Mass Effect story line since inception just because I didn't buy the collectors edition.
I DON'T WANT ALL THE CRAP THAT COMES WITH THAT EDITIO...
5 out 10 seems right on the money. This game needs about 2 years more time developing. Nice combat. Nothing else under the hood.
I could go on and on about the repetitive nature of the game and by repetitive I mean doing the same thing over and over for real.
Fighting the same enemies over and over.
Vising the same looking dungeons.
Story that is as common and bland as eating a banana.

I played the demo with Kinect and it was a complete and utter piece of crap.
There is NOTHING you can do with Kinect, a peripheral that cost anywhere from $99 to $130 bucks for voice commands (something that is achieved non-intrusively in games like EndWar and Binary Domain AND WITHOUT costing you ANYTHING extra. Just use your $10 dollar mic that came bundled with your Xbox).

We don't get to choose who reviews ours products. They should speak for themselves. fact is, if he was wrong his editor wouldn't have allowed his review to go up.
Taking COD as an example: How many reviews are now calling for change in the series? all of them. I read it everywhere, but it was the first ones that got bloody the most, the ones that got tired of it say since World at War.
Emotions shouldn't play a part in choosing sides of video game purchase...
