I suppose it snot the message, but the messenger.
My friends, article like these are just more folks jumping on the the hate bandwagon.
Infinite is not perfect, but credit MUST be given to use racial themes and religious and historical backdrops to tell a fictional "game" story.
This is a game after all. Folks buy it to play. If Levine was making a movie, what would the argument be then? That he was using all these things in an action movie setting.
How dare he even touch such sacred cows ...
Excellent, excellent deal.
AMAZING!
Thats taking your love of a game to new heights.
Great work. That was painstakingly put together, and now you have a TRUE collectors item. A one of kind.
I'm jealous.
I'm a WiiU owner and I think the issue with Mario was that it plays exactly the same as if it was for the Wii.
I believe the complaint is that Nintendo failed to capitalize on their own hardware which in all honesty doesn't make sense and its confusing as all hell.
Personally I think that Mario was rushed and Nintendo was banking on Mario's fame to sell it through the roof.
As much as I like Mario games. This was no seller like sa...
Bought it and beat it. Its LONG as hell and fixed a lot of issues that JRPG's seem to not be able to shake. Same with The Last Story and now in a few days I'll have Pandora's Tower.
From someone who had written off JRPG's as yesteryear's game designs. Xenoblades C and The Last Story opened my eyes to the potential lying underneath.
Awesome. Ubisoft=WIN
Nice to see they are using this new tech and supporting the WiiU.
I've been transitioning from Xbox to WiiU as games permit so this is great.
3DS all the way.
Glad the next Mass Effect will be a prequel.
This is more interesting than picking up the pieces after Mass Effect 3. Besides gives them time to formulate new and interesting stories based on the prequels for the inevitable sequels down the line.
No they cant. BUYING games will save the industry. Not saving money for the one purchase a year of your favorite sports or the latest COD title.
Sweet. Day one purchase.
There might be credence to this article. For example I have over 200 hands on my Xbox alone and MAYBE finished 100 of them. The thought of NEXT-GEN is cool, but these manufacturers ARE competing with the Apples & the Androids of the world. As you can see with not only Square-Enix' loss this fiscal year, "gamers" aren't buying sh!t.
Sure there are LOTS of talk on the boards, about hair, and dev changes and whatever. But the bottom line is between lacklust...
The industry should allow for games and consoles of all shapes and sizes to flourish or perish based on its content. Not hype, not hair color, not new devs, not Meta scores, but plain ol' fashioned fun.
They are called games and gaming consoles (including PC)for a reason.
You will always have reviews, those that cannot create, critique. Its the way of the world. But these should be used to estimate whether or not you, as a singular gamer can live with wha...
YES< YES, and YES.
Cant wait to get my sweaty palms on this.
I know this is a big issue. But I can sincerely say that in all the consoles I've had with BC. The honest truth is I barely used my new console for older games.
This is gen after gen.
I know its not a popular thing, but maybe we need to look at that.
Why have it when we might not be using it.
I wold much rather play the older games on the older system. IF I do.
I know there a some that want this and actually play ...
The violence was on debate?!?
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! My day is done.
This is a silly, uniformed article. Let me go see what else is available on N4G
Man who cares? Are people looking for reasons to bitch?
M$ has done their home work. If it wants always on Internet its cause the majority of their customers already have it.
and those that don't have fast speeds WILL get it. Its inevitable.
Cable and phone companies are loosing money left and right. The'll play ball and get everybody on high speeds. My friend in Kansas never had high speed internet until a year ago, guess what? His speeds are faster a...
“What you’ve got to avoid is situations that are so fragile that the player feels like, one misstep, and some unexpected thing is going to cause them to be detected or killed. There may be a small set of masochistic players who like that, and I count myself among that group, [but] we have to be careful that the majority of players feel they have at least a fighting chance and they understand why they fail when they fail."
You think hes talking about Demon Souls and Dark Sou...
