I've played through Oblivion, Mass Effect 1 & 2, Eternal Sonata, Fable II, FFXIII, Fallout 3 & Lost Odyssey on one machine and it has survived!
Disagree = no?
We'll be seeing this on the 360 too?
If publishers didn't have to compete with used game sales, they could sell their games cheaper, probably cheaper than what the used copies currently sell for.
The auto adjust system, or changing the setting mid-game just feels like cheating to me. I have no problem with choosing the difficult at the start, but I think having a game that plays well on just one difficulty setting is good game design.
Oh, I thought every time it flashed, it killed a kitten.
What is this "Red Ring of Death" thing?
I don't think MS cares, to be fair..
They'll stop supporting it with good first party games, and paying out for third part exclusives. Sure, they'll keep the network online and it will get all the multi-platforms or games that were already in development for PS3 at the time of announcing the new hardware; the same thing that happened with the PS2.
If the neXtBox is superior to the PS3, which it should be or there's not much point in releasing it, it won't matter what quality games PS3 is putting out, Sony will have to stop supporting PS3 and respond with new hardware or face losing more market share.
If the "neXtBox" is out years before the next Playstation then that's a win for Microsoft.
They didn't need to bring out PS3, they could have had PS2 supported with first party games and multiplatforms and won the current gen without bringing out any new hardware at all. All they needed was the Playstation Move!
@ Dirthurts
Yes, but in this case there is really no difference to report.
Tiger Woods is fun but real golf is a pain in the ass.
My eyes don't seem to give a damn and I don't either.
My PC isn't too well specced for gaming, plus I prefer to play games on a couch with a controller in my hands, unless they're MMO or RTS. So Mass Effect greatly influenced my decision to buy Xbox over Playstation. My bad for labeling it exclusive though.
It's all a matter of personal opinion. For me, while I've been tempted to get a PS3, my exclusives of choice have been ME, ME2 & Lost Odyssey. As a huge Fahrenheit fan, Heavy Rain tempted me to purchase the slim, but then I remembered, I don't need to buy a PS3 to play it; it's not too difficult to find someone you know with a PS3, or vice versa.
Who's going to benefit from Move? PS already has a controller.
Xbox version is a more authentic FF. All the PS1 games were on multiple discs.
