I never said otherwise. I'm just not the one who goes into a different section just to berate and belittle the titles that are coming out. I'm sure the PS3 has plenty of great titles that are coming out, which will be mostly multi-platform or that will eventually end up losing the exclusive rights to Nintendo. (Now, something like that if I meant it could be considered a fanboy comment.)
In my comment, I made the mistake of pointing just the PS3 fans. I'm equally annoyed with the fanboyism from all the fans. But let's face it, PS3 fans and Wii fans go at it more than any other group. When I wrote the comment, it really wasn't meant to be as pissy as what people are taking it. The truth is, opinion articles like these should not be approved at all becuase they are not NEWS FOR GAMERS. So to clarify, I stand by my original comment.
Articles like this one just go to show how desperate and insecure certain PS3 fanboys really are. They can't win the console war argument, they don't have the game attachment rate in their favor any longer. And the Wii actually has a good lineup of games for 2009, including a fair amount of top notch hardcore exclusives. I guess all that is left is to scream and whine in a futile attempt to tear Nintendo down and to hope that some poor kid is stupid enough to fall into your line of judgmental...

It's very obvious why this game is getting of to a slow start on the Wii. No voice chat, less features and most importantly it's trying to emulate the style of the more powerful 360 and PS3 versions.
But, the game is still a very good game in it's own right. And with very little competition and the Wii's huge install base the game will definitely continue to sell. Although, I think the lack of online voice chat hurts this game far more than the lack of super realistic graphics. ...
I have a lot of love for the Turtles, but this is just looking like a blatant rip off of Smash Bros. Here's hoping it ends up good.
I think this game is having a hard time selling because gamers who own the Wii as well as other consoles are choosing the other platforms over the Wii version. Still, I'm confident that the game will continue to sell well due to the lack of other quality FPS on the Wii. The only thing that I can come up with is a sequel to Twin Snakes seeing how it was a Gamecube exclusive. Or possibly a revival of a really old classic 8 bit game.
This was one of the very first games that I envisioned that would be perfect with motion controls when the Wii first came out. Just imagine an online multi player mode with players throwing each other into walls and smashing each other with crates through the use of telekinetic powers. Its just too bad that such a beautiful dream will never see life. X(.
I like the CGI and the camer work done in this student film but the casting job REALLY killed it for me. That has to be one of the ugliest Links I have ever seen. (actually I just got the urge to bust out one of my old Xena box sets.)
2009 looks like it's going to be a very good year for us Wii owners. Although, I'm sure it won't take too long for a PS3 fanboy to come in here and to take shots at the games and us owners even tho they don't even have the system.

You beat me to it BrotherNick. COD WAW is easily one of the best games to come out for the Wii and easily beats out the crappy PSP/PS2 Star Wars The Force Unleashed game. De Blob, Zack and Wiki, No More Heroes also should have made the lineup.

I'm not really sure that I understand your complaint. In the first quarter of the year alone the Wii is getting two legitimate AAA titles in Madworld and the Conduit. Who cares if Nintendo isn't developing those games? Wasn't the biggest knock on the Gamecube was the fact it didn't have a lot of good third party support and hardcore titles? Now your getting two great titles off the back, plus the other fourteen you mentioned. Surely you don't expect another Zelda or Mario...
I think it's important to point out that not everyone played Ocarina Of Time before Twilight Princess. When T.L.P was coming out, I heard a lot of people talking about how happy they were that O.O.T was finally getting a spiritual sequel in T.L.P. They game came out, it got great reviews and the fans got exactly what they asked for. Now, everyone tries to dog the game and Nintendo for giving YOU (the fan base )exactly what you asked for.

This article was a little funnier then what I thought it would be. The Crash franchise is in real danger of becoming extinct, even though Mind Over Mutants wasn't half bad. Sega is never going to stop pushing Sonic down our throats, so he's not going anywhere. (crosses fingers for Sonic and The Black Knight, because it actually looks pretty interesting.) I'm actually a little surprised that Spyro didn't make the list.
