Very, very smart move. I was in a game store checking out games and this guy was on the fence about BLOPS 2 and BF3. I told him the differences between the two. I enjoy both but I like BF3 more so less arcadey feel and strategy involved, so I tried leaning him towards that purchase. He was interested until the clerk told him about the online pass thing (it was a used copy nonetheless). So after he learned that he could play BLOPS2 right out of the box online, he immediately picked BLOPS....

But I thought that was what Bungie had in mind in the first place? While the game is continously going on while you're offline, your character will continue it's growth. Somewhat like Dust 514 with their passive SP and Defiance. I thought I read somewhere they planned on creating some add on to the experience through Vita and through smartphone apps.

At first I was a bit cautious of this game. Well not cautious, more so uninterested. But as I watch the game develop my interest has grown. I just wonder how long will the thrill of hacking things last. That's very important to me and that's what I'm trying to gauge; how well the game keeps me interested in wanting to do more. When I first saw the game that was my problem, I felt the "thrill" of hacking networks and such would only last for a couple of minutes. But...

GTAV will just be so gangsta, it's crazy. My anticipation for this game is like any other. I just KNOW this going to be ultra bad ass. I'm going to have to take a couple of days off from work

Thanks a plenty for the clarification. Then it would be Final Fantasy 2, because I remember those characters names. And yes it was a moogle, (couldn't think of the name) for FF3. I loved that menu theme music on FF2. A beautiful piece indeed...

I will have to say the one that was my introduction into the Final Fantasy series. I don't remember exactly what number it was, it was on SNES. I want to say Final Fantasy 2. I remember the SNES box was red with a lil a white monster guy on the front hanging out.

@jadenkorri

Lol stop it man with the get yourself a college education PSA. If these members made it in life without taking the steps you took, so be it. Everyone thinks you gotta have a college education because hey, that's what society led us to believe. But that saying is so true, "its not what you know, its who you know". And the other famous one, "different strokes for different folks"

Again, I presented my sentiments. In my world, what I posted is truth. The FACT of the matter is you can't accept negative feedback on your beloved game. FACT is, it's a FACT that I didn't enjoy this game. The FACT is, when you don't agree with the multitudes, gamers within that group take it as a personal crusade to correct the "injustices" spoken. So yea, put on your shades and deal with it.

Yea Kid X-Mas is a cool name. And Nilin looks hot in the 6th or 7th picture. This game got me interested and reading this article only amplified it by 10 percent. Can't wait to get my hands on this one. Do I dare say D1 purchase?

That was a very good read! And yes, I remember Halo Combat Evolved with the LAN parties. Ahhhhh the days. But keep up the work man! It's not everyday somebody gets a job that involves their passion. Best of luck to you!

Violence is a part of human nature. And violence can be found anywhere, not just a game. I think its tacky that senators choose GTA just to get some votes.

Video games are art and art imitates life. If they got such a problem with violence, then maybe they need to start working on the source...mankind.

I see no competitiveness when you quit when someone better than you beats you. Get better. You just don't quit because of it. that's weak.

LOL!!!!

So this guy gets beat on and now he wants to quit?

You know, actual athletes keep competing even if they are on the losing team. Then in the off season, they work out to get better for themselves and the team. That's the difference between actual physical sports athletes and these guys.

When the chips fall, they fall with them.

"It had enough fans to warrant the creation of a sequel, which I have been excited for since I found out. That game is coming out this week, and Deep Silver is not getting a cent of my money."

That line had me laughing!

But seriously though, I agree with the author. That is messed up that they would take a difficulty setting out of the game and charge you for it. Since when that happens? Usually you play a game on a hard difficulty rating and ge...
