It's quite apparent that Nintendo doesn't have anything to unveil or to show.
No need for Nintendo to hit the main stage when you got so much hoopla surrounding the mysterious Durango and PS4. They would just naturally be out shined as if they weren't there. Nothing against Nintendo, but it's just a smart business move. Don't go to the gun range without a gun.
Entitlement. That's the problem with gamers. They feel entitled to certain things. To say that you want your demo as same as your final product is completely absurd.
Demos often state "This is a work in progress and in no shape or form does it represent the final state". So why is this all of sudden shocking that the game is different?
And you didn't read the whole article. The author mentions that MGS2 promoted trailers featuring Solid...
That's silly. Yes, my comment is the one reason that EA prosper.
No EA prospers because they continually offer games that people are willing to buy. That's why they prosper. If you don't like Aliens: Colonial Marines, you don't buy it. In this blogging age, you can blog about it. We have forums to display our dislike for the game. Just like this game, the word got out and it suffered for it. Now even the Wii U won't come out due to this. And the com...
But the point has been made many times over. Everybody knows about it. And because of it, Wii U's copy probably won't ever see the light of day. And all gamers should know that gameplay videos are often done from PCs.
To me, its just beating a dead horse.
It's definitely wrong. There's no leg to stand on. There's no written guarantee that states you get what they show on gameplay videos. This is the same as people complaining about beta games. We just got duped. Leave it at that.
Michael Biehn does the VO? Cool...does he say "come with me if you want to live?"
People are so quick to equate anything that doesn't praise the Xbox as hate. You have to ask yourself what is Xbox doing now that's significant on the 360? You have to ask yourself why are Xbox users still paying for online services? You have to ask yourself why Xbox has fallen behind even when they came out a year before PS3. Don't be so ignorant. No one is secretly wishing the demise of Xbox for silly reasons. Competition is needed for the industry to flourish properly. X...
Yea that was a good article, though people disagree due to loyalty reasons. Without that, you could appreciate what the man is author was saying
Yep another good one!!
I think FUSE will be a sleeper...without the hit
I have read some of the comments and its quite apparent people did not read the article, only the headline. The author made a valid point.
Whether you like it or not, games are art. And art imitates life. Just look at #6 on the list about COD destroying civilian buildings. You can look up videos where the "war on terror" did the same exact thing.
So maybe we need to start taking a look out ourselves before accusing the mirror for showing our reflection.
This game is looking good. I like the futuristic, cybernetic everything feel. I like the memory stealing concept and from what I've seen in a video, the memory stealing arena is going to be cool. I also like how they have the combos set up. Plus I enjoy games with a female protagonist kicking major butt all over the place. This is definitely on my radar.
Nice! That's a good one. Forgot all about TWD. Thanks...
Not a shame for me, for as you read in my post, its more about the morality than the cool factor. To each its own though.
Can anyone name a TV or movie that was successful as a game? I'm drawing a blank here.
I didn't read. I'm not really a stickler about Trophies. I just enjoy my own personal experience. Trophies, in a sense, hampers my experience. For instance, to get a platinum on inFamous 2, I must complete a game with evil Cole. That's well and dandy but I don't like playing an evil Cole. His douchebaggery is astronomical. So I will never get a platinum.
Thank you for saying this because people are living in fantasyville. Halo 4 campaign was terrible. I was excited to get back to the Master Chief and Cortana but when I did, that same old good Halo feeling that was prevalent when BUNGIE had the game wasn't there. Everything felt tacked on. And that latest Gears, while it did had some interesting firefights, the shine on that game seemed to diminish. Ironically, both games had lost something that was prominent in earlier outings. LOL!...
@aliengmr
LOL, what exactly is arrogant about my post?
