According to that, every FPS on a console should be crappy since we can't use Mouse and keyboard ... and that is not true. TF2 is also pretty fast pace and I am having a blast with it on a console ... on a controller.
If we are all running it on a console, all using controller, then the control is fair across the board.
Counterstrike on the XBOX had great control with a paddle. And yes, I use to be a whore with CS on the PC.

More around the $25 range to get them moving. I would NEVER pay over $50 for this sort of game.
My first console was back to me in 7 days TOTAL.
But it arrived with a bad DVD drive and back it went (none of this cost me a $ of course). But that time around the service place (Teleplan in Canada at the time) F'd up big and it was gone 6 weeks.

I enjoyed BioShock, but IMHO, it is the ONLINE that moves games to the top of MUST HAVE lists or HUGE replay (or a single player with a retarded amount of gameplay like Oblivion)
And to even put Ratchet in the mix(as good as it may be)... WOW .. it does not deserve to be in the same senten...

I must say, after being a mouse and keyboard fan for years, when I first started with a controller I was SO PISSED OFF. BUT one I got the hang of it, I doubt I will ever go back. EVERYTHING you want in your hand. No more searching for keys. That quick look down at the keyboard is just long enough to have your brains handed to you in a basket.
Playing on my 61" 1080p HDTV also has me a bit turned off from my 22" monitor now as well.

I love TF2, but straight up one on one death match with HL2 is AWSOME as well. And CS, well, that is a religion in itself.

This series is FANTASTIC and anyone who has played it knows exactly why. A fantastic "FUN" racing game that to me never gets old.
If you're not sure, do yourself a favour when it comes out and at least rent it .... you will be surprised how kick azz it really is.
And don't let the graphics of these crappy low res vids fool you. Even the last gen of this series looks great.

But I don't want to turn this into a PC VS CONSOLE post. My point was, I think the PC in "THIS CASE" was probably not up to the task. I am sure on Power Game PC's it will be like silk as well.
Don't get me wrong .. bang for your buck the Sharps are AWSOME ... and I was SUPER bummed with the bands since outside of that the Aquos (both D62 & D92) were georgeous. But the bands were noticable in many types of media when watching (games and TV)
"IF" (and I wish it were the case) my 52" Aquos (either model) had ZERO to very little banding, it would still be sitting in my house right now.
I guess my point was that Sony has stepped in up in ...
but after a 52" D92 and 52" D62 BOTH WITH BAD BANDING ISSUES .. sharp is out of my want list. This SET is at least worth seeing. Especially running a HD movie (BR or HD-DVD) to see what it can REALLY do.
But in regards to response time, the Sharps are leaders. Still not sure why Sony still has the 8ms ... kind of stupid really. Especially for such a kick azz TV the XBR4's turned out to be.

I think if you are a first time buyer and the extra hard drive space will come into play, the Elite is the one for you.
