i can remember just before next gen console were revealed and developers and publishers were all excited and talked about how last gen tricks will not sustain in the new gen and how they had to think of new ways to improve the industry but alas all those were just.... empty lies for the most part of this new gen

If you preordered from amazon and the price becomes cheaper you will get it for the cheaper price. If the price increases you pay the price it was displayed at when you preordered

the only logical analysis is because if its coming out on multi-console the platform holder has to find ways to entice the consumer to get it on their platform rather than the competition understandable from that point of view but still very annoying fad that needs to die a horrible death

well said. i understand that gaming has to mature but some of us are taking it way to seriously. back in the days who really cared about playing as a fat plumber or a hedgehog we just played games because they were fun. this nitpicking in the gaming community of late is becoming a nuisance but everyone is entitled to their opinion and again i get that

you got further than me, i played until you get past the police in the car chase (10 mins into the game)and was like YUP IM DONE!!!! shame i got it digital as i would have returned it
exactly while playing this i was like cant they just release this now , now imagine how much better it will be when it does finally launch.
i have had to go it solo and make new friends on there as my friends are only interested in COD and although i will get cod i think i will get more enjoyment from this due to the variety of things to do in this game.

the " everyone is giving up on next gen" is a bit of an exaggeration but we can all agree that currently there is nothing really "next gen" about the current offerings from game developers and publishers. but 2015 will hopefuly change all that as that's when most of the great games that really push "next gen" are coming out.
