Games like this prove next gen cant come soon enough. However I would love RAGE to get a major update/upgrade for next gen as I believe it could easily be up with cryENGINE 3, Frostbite 2, Unreal Engine 4 and Luminous for visuals.

I love the routine especially about Gears and GH3. I also like that he refers to gaming as an art form. As im convinced a lot more work goes into making a AAA game than does a book or movie.

Bizarrely I think this shows that core games are becoming much more acceptable in the media courtesy of pathetic and bad casual games.

Failing to capitalize on something new you are bringing to your console can be a big mistake. In this case Nintendo didn't show the true power of the WiiU and instead showed games like Lego and Mario. Whilst these looked crisp and great they certainly wasn't pushing the boat out on graphics.
They have already confirmed they are working on next gen games so here to hoping for some better launch titles than the WiiU!

Square want to show off Tomb Raider as it was at E3 2011. And Capcom are there are they are buddying up with MS over Resident Evil 6. As Xbox get the demo a month early I think.

I never said they didn't innovate its just I couldn't imagine playing all these big titles from PS3 and Xbox with the new controller.
Am I the only one who thinks the WiiU deserves to fail? Touting specs that are apparently 'as good' as the PS3 and 360. All they have done is made a gimmicky controller and caught up with 2005.
It certainly isn't Sony as they haven't even sold a third of the consoles they sold last gen whereas microsoft has at least doubled and Nintendo have nearly quadrupled their console sales over last gen
