dude, the DS has far more piracy than the PSP, what was the figure, something rediculous like 90% of American DS owners own the R4 Revolution (or the like).
I bet less than 10% of PSP owners actually run any form of homebrew.

id switch it around and say no matter how much the DS sells it will never be as good as the PSP.
Once you get your head around all the custom firmware/ homebrew you'll realise just how good the PSP is, DS is good if you want childish mini-games or you like to simply download all your games from torrent using the R4.
Yes, very good infact, mind you different developers now, the original was handled by Cryteck (Crysis) where as this is Ubisoft. Bit id seriously reccomend FC2 if your an FPS fan.
Id go for a 8800GT or GTS rather than a 9600. Especially, as soon as the 9800 drops as the 8800 price should come down even a bit.
I've all ways noticed that hardware - software never seems to match up with the PSP. Maybe people are buying it for its other features, homebrew, movies, skype etc...?

Really looking forward to this, im torn between PC or PS3, think ill go for PC purely because of the better graphics and support. I can imagine this game having quite a few bugs/glitches at release and they'll get ironed out quicker on the PC.
Well the PS3 version was running slightly behind (nothing new) and i believe it got sent to Sony a few days ago, so id expect it very soon, within the next few days.

Hardly confirmation, i just read through ALL the posts and it appears ONE guy said he got the update on his 360, thats it, no one else (360 or PS3).
Im sure a statement will be released by IW before the patch actually goes Live. Eitherway, if the 360 guys are getting it today, good stuff, hopefully the PS3 will follow soon after.

As from what ive read the 9600 doesnt come close to the 8800GTX/Ultra but the 8800GTS (512) does, very close infact. Obviously the choice is yours at the end of the day, but i have a single GTS and it runs everything (UT3, CoD4, NOT crysis) very well indeed.
