All the GT fans and PS3 owners i know all think that prologue is worth every penny, and isnt that what matters? Personally i dont care if a 360 owner thinks its a demo or over priced.

while i agree with you dude, M$ dont have "unlimited funds" no matter who you are, if you continue to loss money you have to say enoughs enough.
Luckily for M$ (and gamers) they have just started to turn a profit, but i think if you look at the top earning companies of the last few years there are quite a few above them, including Sony.

any recent software sales show that on a ratio of # of games sold vs # of consoles (in the market place) and its goes to sony.
Obviously if you simply take the numbers for what they are the 360 wins, but thats due to double the size install base, if you double sonys software sales (there for making the install base equal) sony sold more.

Eitherway, both systems are selling well and both companies should be happy with their current performance.
It's no problem mate, iam proSony, because personally i like the PS3 more, but that doesnt make me ANTI MS, not at all.

dude, its ONE game, and a multiplat at that.
This could be the single greatest game EVER, it doesnt matter, 6 months down the line, something bigger and better will be out/shown and GTA will just be another old game that sold well.
Lets take some of your other games listed, with are all exclusive's, Gears or MGS, once again could be the best thing since sliced bread, it doesnt matter, MGS will not stop 360's from selling, Gears will not stop the PS3 selling.

It's just one game, its not the be all and end all of the console war. Look at games like Halo, sold an absolute shed load but here we are 6 monthes later and it all but forgotten about. Same will happen with GTA. 99% of PS3 owners will drop GTA when MGS is released.

No, like XP and previous MS OS's, Service Packs are released completely free of charge. They're basically just large updates.
Not even MS will charge you for updates to fix their problems (yet).

Let me just say he says, the 360 is CURRENTLY the better version. Eitherway, this game will be great on both consoles, correct me if im wrong but this is R*'s first PS3 game? so as long as it runs good ill be happy.

Headline is very misleading, read the article, you soon see that SP1 does add some performance in certain area's but only very little, no where near 86% thats for sure.
I've all but given up on Vista now, hopefully MS just get on with Windows 7 becuase i have dual boot (vista/XP) and i spend more time with XP.

Like the article said, more than likely an engine demo if anything. I very much doubt it was "crysis" the game.
Still if its true its a push in the right direction, Cryteck have had a secret PS3 team for a long time now, so they're obviously starting to show some love towards the consoles.
I believe the upscaled rumour was proved to be false. GT will be 1080p @ 60fps.
