what all the MGS fans and ps3 owners alike have been waiting to hear. ive seen the videos which blow me away but have been holding my excitment till i know it played well. all the reviews ive read so far are glowing, 2008. snakes year.
maybe your right about it being like second life, and probably even more right about them being wierdos but more than 8.9 million accounts have been registered, thats alot of wierds huh, more than xbox live infact...

i think im gonna pick one of these up next year to coincide with playTV, its gonna be great to be able to steam movies/live or stored tv off you ps3 to your psp anywhere in the world!
hmmm thats a tricky one, obviously i cant give a defo answer but heres my prodiction. i would of thought that the ps3 will have dedicated servers for TF2 (dont know if you get half-life2 deathmatch or not), i doubt the xbox will. see this is another benefit of the pc, there are hundreds of dedicated servers all with different options and game modes to choose from.
hmmm well if your pc can only just handle half-life 2 id personally go for the console version, as both episode 1 +...
is easily the best gun in a game to date! and i dont wanna spoil it for you but near the end of the game the grav gun gets how should i say... 'upgraded', and your gonna love it!!

contents wise they're the same, but personally id say if you have a pretty good pc then go for that, its got many advantages over the console versions...
better graphics
keyboard and mouse (a must for FPS)
MODS MODS MODS (hundreds of HL2 mods already available)

if your a console gamer and havent played half-life 2 on the pc then THIS is the FPS you should be excited about. HL2 + episode 1 + episode 2 + TF + protal! now thats value for money!

the HOME beta will be open to anyone who wants to take part, theres a chance that you may need to sign up but i doubt it, im sure it'll just come over the PSN or possibly in a fireware update.
obviously i cant answer your question as know one out side sony knows but im sure this will be avaliable to us all but if you keep your eyes on gaming sites such as this it will all become clear closer to the date! hope this helped.

games are just gonna keep getting bigger and bigger so obviously sony had the foresight to see this. this isnt gonna effect many games tho so its not a big issue for xbox fans, when you start seeing FPS/sport games on multiple discs then we might see some complaining!
in benchmark tests do they still use resolutions set for 4:3 monitors? surely most people are going toward widescreen monitors now?
edit @ DarthNihilus, i realise that mate i have a 1080p tv, but no one plays games in that res, well unless you have a £5000 pc, but i mean the actually res's that gamers us, 1600x1200 stuff like that, id like to see tests on 1650x1020 and 1440xwhatever it is. i just doubt that many pc gamers now buy 4:3 monitors unless your buying like a 17&...
