Imagine that on next gen tech
My only gripe with ACIII gameplay wise was that there wasn't enough all out battlefield fights
I thought why r they talking about multiplat games, until i realized what site it was from.
I hate the direction we have slowly been heading with games. Such as these episodic games. I want a full game. I have never been hyped about something episodic especially after playing the walking dead. Terrible game, no. Decent game yes, and at $20 not bad
There hasn't been a good video game based on a movie in ages
I felt that way about Bioshock 1. I still enjoyed it but it felt short and just didnt quite excel to the expectations it had been talked up to imo
My list as it goes
1. TLOU
2. DMC
3. Ascension
Have not played metro, bioshock, or TR
And I find it hard for anything even a next gen game(for this year anyway) to compare to TLOU
exclusive wise neither has a stellar launch. Me personally PS4 is the way to go b/c of Sony exclusives and the studios that make them r talented
I'm not really seeing anything that gets my ears perked up
SNES is the best nintendo console of all time
at first glance thought this image was army of darkness cover. Had to do a double take
It goes up to 25 :O
But seriously I can't think of 25 amazing gamecube only games.
Metroid Prime 1 and 2
RE4 was a timed exclusive
Twilight Princess
Smash Bros Melee (my intial reason for getting a cube)
F-zero gx
Eternal Darkness
And that's about it. I consider it the real beginning of me weening off Nintendo. I still like their staple characters but everything else is mediocre imo
@KweitStorm
It is sort of a bitter sweet irony. But RE4 brought new life in the series only to be snuffed out by Capcom itself with uninspired sequels.
I find it kind of funny too b/c to me RE was always that game that reminded u, that u were playing a game. Classic Boss battle esque fights and lots of puzzles.
TLOU did it very different. It came together on all ends. It makes every encounter different each time u go through. I mean yea they dont really have the old sc...
The list that is shrinking b/c they r putting A list actors in some games now. It's a shame, especially when I play last of us and Troy Baker's performance is some of the best acting I've personally seen in recent yrs(I've not seen Lincoln which i hear Daniel Day does great in but it's freakin daniel day)
I'll give u Forza. Everything else is meh to me. Not that there aren't and wont be exclusives that interest me.
I'll just stick with my PS4 preorder
Correct me if im wrong but isnt MS marketing cloud computing as something to add to the longevity of the system for uses other than online multiplayer. Such as allowing more characters on screen as well as boosting the graphics.
Cloud requires internet connection to begin with, which means If MS wants to be stupid and bring up constant internet connection again... hey it's there funeral. So games that do utilize this feature will only be taking a portion of the market into account.
Where as the PS4 is not banking on something this ridiculous b/c they know that is big market to miss
It sux I havent played Bioshock infinite or Tomb Raider yet :(
I never really played legends but I wouldnt mind them reviving that. We need it to try and step out of scroller. I do like the original battle network too
I know what the cloud will do...
It will compute things faster than the time and space itself can comprehend that way Ted Price can go back in time to make Resistance 2 and 3 awesome and send Arnold back to stop Fuse from being made
Who gives a crap about Valve not being there. I like Half-life and all but probably one of the most overrated developers out there. I mean I saw a list of Top 10 or 20 something developers of all time and they were on it. All time, come on
