It's a QTE game more than anything. Which is fine. But it's not much of a traditional survival horror
Too bad capcom didn't go the pachinko route instead
I honestly would be ok if they were like. We made these cassette tapes into cutscenes and bridged something to that ending. I like the ending but it is too sudden
Lack of cinematics bothered me. Konami rushed Kojima and forced most to be on tapes. I did enjoy the ending,I just hated how abrupt it was. I liked 4th the best but that's because solid snake always did what he thought was right

I wish we got more unique boss fights.
In a perfect world... Konami would tank and all of kojimas ideas would be fully realized without restaint
We needed a non abrupt ending. I wish konami would go the route of THQ and be forced to auction off its ips
More well thought out boss fights (such as skull face) and more cutscenes (I feel they were pressed for time though) would have sent this game over the moon.
Yet the only future games I see is PES

Servers will go up and then down in like a year watch. Then they "fulton" themselves out of gaming and let all their ips shamelessly be displayed on slot machines

They are all cutscene heavy, but that's why I love them
MGS4 > than all other MGS imo. But V looks better

The only regret anyone should have, is konami. For letting Kojima go and letting this franchise die
I'm a stickler for people claiming to be die hard mgs fans. Like IGN and former IGN employees that thought when mother base was first shown that it was big shell. MGS fan my butt. Or when people don't know the difference of Solid and Naked/Big Boss
I like games like these except when telltale does them.
