Yes, your right. GT fans are pretty obsessed about anything Gran Turismo, and amazingly they get more info about anything Polyphony Digital/Gran Turismo than Sony would want to release. When GT5 prologue released, I seem to remember Logitech reporting a massive sales spike for G25's.
You should try visit GTPlanet some time.
Alot of games do this though, as a easy way to get attention. eg. 360's answer for Gran Turismo is Forza Motorsport or PS3's answer to Halo is Killzone.
I agree though, I'd rather developers/publishers not do this, let the game prove itself rather than mindless hyping.

You know, I would have thought Sega would have hated the ps brand due to the Dreamcast dying out and all that, but recently their making alot of exclusive games for PS3, games like Valkyria Chronicles, Yakuza series and even this guy working for ps3!!

That sounds great to be honest, but I'd wait to buy one if I were you. Apple always hold out on features for their first generation products. I'll be waiting until 2nd/3rd genreation of iPad, I'm in no hurry. :)
