Sony will drop the Pro price down to $349 tomorrow night. Then that will be it for Xbox. This late in the generation, people are looking for cheeeeeap. They want deals. Not to spend a fortune.
Xbox fanboys have been treating it as such. With a price of $499, it prices the scorpio out of mainstream market. Most console consumers want the cheapest version just to play the games (I'm talking casuals and hobby gamers). That demographic also accounts for 90% of the market.
I don't believe I've seen anyone negative towards it, but rather an indifference. If PlayStation had it, I'm sure most PS gamers would love it. I also think that most PS gamers want full BC, but aren't worked up about not having it.
Which brings me to my point as to why this has become a conflict in the fanboy wars. Xbox fans use BC as a badge of honor and want PS gamers to feel envious of it, and of course most PS gamers don't care if they have it or no...
well I'm hoping. nothing wrong with hoping.
Hopes: TLOU2 gameplay, loads of new big budget VR games, Spider-Man gameplay, God of War gameplay, Shenmue 1/2 HD Colletion.
Fears: PS5 announcment (way too early), another system upgrade (PS4 Pro+ anyone), talk too much about sports games.
This won't even be mentioned this year. So far off from release and I believe Kingdom Hearts 3 is Square's main focus right now.
With a full time job and kids, I don't have to luxury to play a whole lot of games anymore. With all the new stuff coming out, I don't have time to look back. Going forward is my only option and my choice. If people want BC, that's great, they should have it.

BC being so important to xbox gamers is not a good thing. It means they have to occupy their time playing old games because they are not getting a steady flow of new titles to take up that time. Which is why I believe most PlayStation gamers don't care about BC too much. They have enough first party PS4 games to last them for a while.
Nobody really cared about this game when it first came out (yeah i'm old and remember those days). This one alway baffled me as to why they would even bring this back. Games like Mechassault and Crimson Skies deserve this more.
Also, If any of you wish for Brute Force to be remastered clearly were not old enough to ever have played it back then. That game was terrible and a huge disaster for MS. I remember picking that one up at Toys R Us and returning it the next day ...
... for $40. LOL
The Order was a great game. I loved the story too. To bad it was only 4 hours long. If it came out for $29.99 back then, nobody would have complained about it.
She was a lot of fun to watch in the single player. She not to bad of a fighter either. Awesome combos. I think I love good guy Harley.

Seriously this comment section doesn't f'ing have a clue what renewing the rights to an IP means and doesn't mean. All it means is that MS still claim ownership of the IP so nobody else can publish it, not that they're going to use it anytime soon (if ever again), You're all getting hyped for nothing. MS already said they Scalebound is dead in the water.

Calm down people. All they did was renew the rights. Doesn't mean this game is coming back to life. Renewing rights happens all the time so they can still claim ownership of an IP. It's like Konami renewing their rights to Contra.
I can't wait. So excited! Been waiting for a new PROPER Ace Combat game since xbox 360. Assault horizon was bad. 6 was awesome!
As a Halo fan since it was originally shown off at Mac World 1999, Halo's magic died with Bungie, 4 and on have been terrible. The story sucks too because you have to do a bunch of required novel/comic reading to understand what is happening in the next game. I was waiting to fight the Didact in the 5th game and found out they defeated him in a comic book and Haley lost an arm and changed sides. WTH is going on.
