EA is pushing Gavankar on us to distract us from the problem. that is my opinion.
Supposedly this is incorrect info. Check "Pretty Good Gaming's" video addressing this. https://www.youtube.com/wat...

one small step for man... another giant leap back for EA.
I agree (of course) and people should just stop the "it's acceptable and is becoming mainstream" idea and stop vouching for cosmetics when it used to be free (like you said) and the fact that cheat codes have all but basically disappeared from games (which would've have provided the option for funky "cosmetics"). Either way, it's time to take back the game system from the System and show the world that the gaming community is a true democracy and not a dictato...
No longer "gamers overreacting". I guess parents and states and countries are too. ;) https://www.youtube.com/wat...
https://www.youtube.com/wat... in regards to "US" (specifically Hawaii) looking into Star Wars Battlefront II gambling/lootbox practices. a win! again and again against evil and EA.
Fina-f*cking-ly! :) So good it's worth cursing over. :) I not only want EA to get burned for their evil money grabby schemes and the fact this "triple A" Star Wars title is easily marketable towards children, but also to hopefully put an end to lootboxes and gambling microtransactions in all games... even the "cosmetic" ones. It's time to rise up and maintain a defense against such Eavils and honestly, it is a problem and not just some "SJW" rant. Than...
microtransactions are not -- and should not -- be "here to stay". so stop advocating for, and supporting such evil practices. The whole gamer community needs to continue to fight this lackadaisical idea.
and if I were her, though it was fun and (an honor) to make and be part of a Star Wars game -- I wouldn't want to have anything to do with EA or Battlefront II at this point. :(
This is borderline shallow. They are focusing on her beauty (and talent) to detract from the fact EA royally screwed up and it's unfortunate such an excellent actress/voice actor has to be overshadowed by EA (and Dice's) greed. Let's hope she gets a more honorary (and less overlooked) role in new games. (cause from what I've heard, her story in the campaign and character development is short and is blindsided by fan-fed characters like Luke and Leia and etc)
This is the second "financial analyst" report I've read about Battlefront II just now. And it's clear, they are only seeing and talking money. To the point, they don't know what they're talking about -- even if they proclaim themselves to be "gamers too". No... prices should not be raised on videogames. and no, microtransactions/loot boxes/gambling should not be in videogames. but I do agree... none of that -- should be tied to any progression system. f...
I wonder how much EA paid you write this. :(
nothing will get more downvotes the EA's comment. most likely for a long time.
And you know who else likes microtransactions...? -- My MOM....!
Sounds like EA paid you off good.
I did. I got lucky cause I was sitting in a Sailor Moon panel waiting for it to start when I just saw it on the schedule and ran for it. And blam. Jennifer Hale my fave (since Emma Emmerich) but honestly, I am still saddened by any Metal Gear character/voice actor dying.
My name is as it is for a reason!
Oh my goodness. I saw this and almost posted a duplicate. I may not know the Japanese voice actor but in a sense, it's almost like Metal Gear is literally dying. (and NOT surviving). Only the memory by the fans ("must be passed on to the next generation" - Snake/Raiden) can keep it Fox Alive... Anyways, I got the American's voice actor signature at a recent AWA for Naomi Hunter in Atlanta. So when I initially read the article on MetalGearInformer I was like "OH NOE...
that already sounds like a horrible idea. and anything EA (or generally microtransaction related game from any company) I steer away from. Hope gamers start doing the same and prove their point to the big wigs.
EA might be paying people (my theory/opinion) to push Gavankar on us to distract from their problem with BFII. the idea of "sex sells" rather than them actually noting a talented actress/voice actor. :( think about it. A bunch of old greedy wrinkly business men in suits sitting at a table think "What is a good way to distract and make us look good? Oh yeah! throw a hot woman at them!" Just like us gamers, EA does not care about their talent or studios (mind all they...
