Once counting up the years of gaming and all. You pretty much spent on gaming as much as you could of brought a new car and put a down payment on a house. Gaming cost a lot of money and places like gamestop know gamers want more games so the trade-in policy works for them. People are even going to be trading games in for Resistance 3 when it comes out.

Wish I did but I do not buy import games. I was thinking about doing it once but I did not want to pay the price for the importing. My game collection keeps on growing and I'm running out of room for my games so I was asking around if anyone knew of a bigger one I could get.

I have Resistance 1 and 2, and 3 will go nicely with the rest of them in my gaming cabinet. Of course once I beat the crap out of it and get as much if not all the trophies to add to my score.
On a side note: Can anyone recommend a cabinet or holder for games that hold a good amount? I'm starting to run out of room and I have like over 200 games (115 being PS3 games).
I love COD and if I had to wait another month, I would be pissed because I know I'm going to beat Uncharted 2 quite a few times while waiting for MW2 and I do not want to play it until I do not want to look at it anymore.

It really does not matter what console I have and what games I will play. Demon's Soul's is a pain but it is a good game. I see that thief is working out for you. I'm a knight and if you dont have enough room to hold stuff you find, you get screwed and it wont be there when you come back. I found this out the hard way.
Anyway, it is a great game and I am most certainly going to lose all my hair by the time I beat this game from pulling it out from dying and having to start all over again.
The Dreamcast used OpenGL for their games and the PS3 uses OpenGL for their games so emulation would work pretty well I think. Also I have to agree with one of the posters and go nuts over Shenmue coming to the PS3 and being able to play it in 1080P. I love that game and if it came with trophy support......oh man I do not think I could stop playing it for a long time.
But I also have a 360 for some exclusive games from MS. I buy multiplatform games for my ps3 and not my 360 because I like collecting trophies for my collection. But games like Forza 3 and SC: Conviction are games that I want to play so owning a 360 is the way I get to play those games.

I installed a 500 gig 7200 hard drive in my ps3 and before 3.0 and sometimes my ps3 would have a hard time starting up with the hard drive. Now after the update, it starts up with no problems everytime. also my guitar hero guitar would turn on and be labeled controller 7, but after the update now it turns on as controller 2. Just something i wanted to put out there since we are trying to find out all the little stuff they put in.

It sounds to me like someone is just making up stories about hearing rumors about a price cut because they know if someone that is thinking about getting one will wait and not buy one right now. Try telling that to my friend that had to get his own box and print out his own label to send his 360 back even tho he brought their 3 year warrenty to cover everything even if the drive gave out. He asked them for a box and they told him he had to send it back himself with his own box. I'm not making this stuff up either because I know I'm going to get disagrees and people calling me a lair but MS is not god and they do screw people over. Sony also screws people but not as much.
They already had another article about the PS3 being the next Dreamcast before and before that and before that. I own both consoles and I for one am excited about all the new games coming out. I do favor the PS3 over the 360 but I still do love playing Halo 3 and COD4 on the 360 and also I am getting left 4 dead because all my friends play it. It does not matter to me who has better games this year because I win either way so let the mountain of games come crashing down because my bank account is screaming even now from pre-ordering Killzone 2.
Your right on that one. Even tho I enjoy playing my 360 for COD4 and some crackdown, I still do not think xbox live is worth 50 a year. I can play COD4 on ps3 and it is just as fun and free but because my friends love and worship the 360, I have to pay to play them.

I love the Call Of Duty series and been playing it since the first Call Of Duty on the PC. IW knows how to make a game and I can't wait for the new one to come out. Problem for me is I play COD4 on both X360 and PS3 so I'm going to have to buy that game for both platforms when it comes out.
But all they are going to do is make people not want the game anymore. Seems more and more like IW is getting ahead of themselves or it could just be Activision behind it but either way it is going to kill the Call Of Duty franchise.
Maybe they will take a page from EA and shape up when their sales go way down and lose customers because of their ignorance.
