To have something to announce with a bang in a few days.
"It is fixed, marketing campaign is back, our game works".
I'm glad DRM is dying.
People enjoy swallowing this. What would one expect?
I hope people don't get fooled this year... In a figurate manner, because we all know people WILL get fooled. And disappointed.

It's the survival genre survival.
Djinn, we ruin everything in the industry. 'We' being the gamer community.
The fact that this article was toned down is the industry equivalent to Dead Island becoming easier through a much asked for patch... By the same 'community' that later complaint that horror is gone.
The softening and lack of freedom to creativity is just a reflex of our manifest desires spoken often through forums, but mostly through our wallets.
Argh! I didnt want to HAVE to buy a Vita.
I'm mostly a console player, but I have to say that this is good on PC and that's it. Frame rate is terrible on 360 and kills the experience.
But it was nice, had a very different feel, art style.
Now, though, yay, Unreal Engine shooter number 1.000.000. Congrats!
Then they wonder why game companies bankrupt...
Here comes another great franchise turned generic.
"Yaaayyyy shoooott shooott shoooooottttttt everything!"
Mark my words.
The single x multi question is not related AT ALL with the horror genre issue.
Demon's Souls, Dark Souls (invasions) and Search and Destroy can provide much more tension and scares than most "horror" recent titles.
The problem is not multiplayer at all.
Sad to hear it, but my hope is that Respawn still is the only company that can top Modern Warfare 2 quality and design. They may have lost a lot of important people, but a big part of the know-how is still there.
Very good luck to the ones who left, and ever better to the ones who kept. =)
It is bizarre how much time gamers needed until they finally accepted/realized this.
Well, people still buy/compliment AC 3, so I guess we really deserve all the garbage the industry is throwing at us.
Actually, each game is worst/casualler/dumber than the previous.
Just as CoD after 6.
I happen to have the US PSN+, though the speech in that article is summed up by:
"I wanted to have a PSN+ as good as the european, but, as I don't, let me tell you about something the US' has better than EU's."
"Hey, look, european mammals, you may have the best PSN+, but you suck at __________ (random subject)."
lol
The writer of the article is SO butthurt over the uber superiority of EU PSN+.
PSN+ fanboys wars... I never thought I'd see them.
BigBoss, indeed.
TR is much like Uncharted with a survival theme. Though there's a lot of crucial differences, as the semi open environments and leveling up. Also, at least in the beginning, you're not overpowered as Drake always is.
Anyway, they are clearly very very similar.

As to LarVanian, think what you want. I am mostly, by far, a PS3 player. After playing both, I presented my reasons. What did you do: "T...
After playing GoW:A's demo and TR, I'd rate the first at 7,5, 8 for the SP portion, and the second at 9 or more.
I'm a GoW fan since the first, but it seems that all creativity went towards MP. There is absolutely NOTHING new presented at this demo, which is actually below the standard quality of the GoW franchise when it comes to characters, frame rate and graphics.
But there is MP. I'll buy the game mostly for this, since the SP looks to be ...
1. As said above, it wouldn't be the first.
2. The series' aim is too casual/blockbuster. Expect a non-sense half-finished story (as the game's), a typical hollywood teenager movie.
3. The game itself is not even that good anymore. Another downhill ultra repetitive dumbed franchise, heavily reliant on marketing.
