Marketing >>>>>>> Quality.
What you have to do is... know what to expect. Start by knowing what to NOT EXPECT: innovation and creativity.
SR4 is SR3.1.
AC4 is AC3.1.
CoD and BF make incredible brainwashes.
And, on topic, Dead Island has a few mods called: Riptide, Hellraid and Dying Light.
You just have to know where you are stepping and don't EVER think a game will be *that* good. Ubisoft know...
A troll review. So creative.
Which obsession with realism?
It goes like this to me:
GTA 1, 2, 3, VC, SA > SR franchise > GTA V > GTA IV.
GTA V is fun, but most of the dozens of activities are completely pointless and barely fun at all.
What do you gain by winning a triathlon world cup? Not even 1 dollar.
By reaching gold medal in hunting? Money that doesn't even buy the ammo spent.
By bringing that target alive? Close to no money.
And so on for a dozen options.

I headshot on full manual. Yo, dog! I'm so pro!
In truth, I'm very happy there's the full auto aim, since many friends can only play the game with this setting.
Yup. I don't expect a frame rate over 27, 28 fps again.
But this is Capcom and F2P model together.
It just can't work at all.
Not on my watch list anymore, there's ho hope for this game.
Having played only for about 15-20 hours, totally agree on the radio stuff. The set list is awful for someone not into rap/hiphop or po(o)p.
Did we really need 38 hiphop stations?
It isn't affecting everyone, as usual.
It is like saying Bethesda didn't know about the PS3 bugs before release.
Don't be naive. It is obvious they knew it before we do. Still more obviously they don't reveal this. It is much better and more lucrative to cowrite an IGN article lying about stable 30 fps than saying that the game will mostly range between 25-28. The truth, you know...
Not simple at all.
If you have any idea about why these issues are happening (double access) you'll realize it is basically impossible to be fixed.
Still, the PSN US version is suffering from serious issues, it seems.
Be warned.
More about it: http://n4g.com/news/1356981...
After playing the disc version for XBox360, and physical and digital for PS3, I must say the PS3 digital is much behind any other one. In GTA Online, digital owners suffering the issues will suffer even more in the competition, due to controller lag and lower frame rate.

I asked for a refund for my digital purchase.
So far, they offered only workarounds (some pretty bizarre, I must say, like disabling PSN and network, or deleting my saves) ...
Okay, we get it, she is horrible, but let me tell you something: It is UNDENIABLE that she is a tremendous professional.
See, all this buzz, all this hate, all these clicks and mentions of GameSpot, it only shows how successful their scheme is being.
All other troll sites and reviews should watch and learn: THIS is how you fool idiot people and lure them to repeating and linking your site over and over again.
Congratulations to all stupid but...
I would click to see their nitpickings, but, well, these schemes don't deserve our hits.
Just downvoted for obvious reasons.
And yes, I have played the game and it is awesome, including the heists.
I played with it installed. Runs very nice. Could be better? IDK. The worst problem I had was with pop ups, about which I don't mind at all.
That said, there's another problem: X360 disc reader is WAY TO EFFIN LOUD. It's been years since I played a game not installed and I don't intend to do it again. At least while the console is in the same room as I am.
Pirating is also for companies that beg for it.
On a forum I visit quite often, a lot of people are pirating it. Almost all of them are buying the game as well.
People respect Rockstar and are usually very glad that the company exists and treat consumers like they do.
So, basically, it comes and goes. =)
... and hope Trevor is not your cell mate.
I agree.
I wouldn't mind having Batman Arkham City, AC3, RDR, Far Cry 3, but even the EU PSN+ being absolutely superior, the US is very good, no doubt.
It really seems like something strange to the recent trends of bad services and uninspired products.
