Nintendo needs to have enough incentive for me to make the plunge. I play PS3/PC/360... Now.... Why do I need to get a WII U? They didn't really show quality exclusives that look better than this gen. Also the tablet/controller seems to be of a distraction than useful. Why? When you have to constantly look away from the screen... it takes away from the immersion, but that's my opinion. The third party support is also worrying... Yeah as it stands, Nintendo doesn't have my sell.
It's because of Origin, that I refuse to get BF3(it hurts)... Which is a shame because I love the series. If only they released on steam as well...

Yeah, I'm not buying the hype. I've seen about 4 gameplay videos and it seems clunky. Moments using the touch seem really distracting(from the immersion) when the game tells you to look at it. I'm totally counting it out, but it needs a lot of polish if you ask me.

They failed to garner interest from the majority hardcore in my opinion. If one of the purposes of their conference was to convince the 360/PS3/PC players that they are missing out, they failed. Even neglecting to mentioning heavily anticipated games was a very bad decision. Just mentioning that they were working on the next Smash Bros, Star Fox, revamp network store, and etc... E3 was an opportunity to get people excited, especially the hardcore. Some say that they only announced launch games and even if that's true, it's a stupid move to not talk about games being developed. If they said that they were working on a new smash bros, star fox, revamped network store and support, etc... people would become excited. They didn't make the argument in the slightest that I'm missing out, if I(a PC/S#/360 player) don't buy a WiiU.

I can see PS3 getting all games except the 3ds one. I doubt the WiiU would anything, but the 3ds version. Why? because every title, but the 3ds have sony properties, if I'm not mistaken.

I loved Dear Esther.
My expectation is very low for them announcing anything. That said, valve is the type of company that doesn't need to appear at E3 to show already announced content. Even if it isn't HL3, I do expect some sort of announcement.
Considering that this is on a handheld(lets not forget that), this looks damn good.
I don't even think I could go that long without passes out through exhaustion.
Lets also note that their network/store needs to be reworked and is still very far away from the competitions.
