I was a fan of devil may cry 1 and 3. That said I thought DMC was a great reboot and look forward to more.

Agreed! this is actually my second favorite out of the series(2 being first).
Gamestop dying would be the one of the good things to come from used games being blocked.
The game isn't that big of departure from 2 and frankly I thought 2 was much better than the original. I really never understood why people thought it was scary/horror... it had good atmosphere, but with the tools at your disposal, it's very hard for me to feel fear.
I say it's a Suspenseful Sci-Fi/Action to be accurate(that goes for the whole series).
I predict no more than $399.00 in the US.

The game had good pacing, better story/world than 4,a simpler combat system yet fluid(also not as fast paced), etc
My only gripe with the game was the speed of the combat, but that was a far cry from ruining the game. Who knows maybe if Team Ninja makes a sequel they'll tweak some things.
If I was the creator of the Devil May Cry series, I would be embarrassed at how childish/bitchy some fans have behaved, taking into account the situation of the games creation.

If the new dmc was more of the same as Devil May Cry 4(repetitive as hell/weak story) I would have been out. The series needed a reboot and new take. It was far from a bad game... It was actually good. Get the fuck over it. :D
God damn this franchise has horrible fans... While there were certain aspects to dmc that I wasn't pleased with compared with previous entries, I still found it to be a better experience overall. I would like to see this reboot continue, but than again I can do without the bitching.
I think Nintendo makes better software than they do hardware and like the idea of them doing the same as sega.
