Of course they made the wrong choice as for people pointing out VC and folklore those were nice games, the JRPGs like TOV have actually sold almost the same amount of copies despite the release gap (more sales in less time on PS3).
Star Ocean will prove once again that JRPGs belong on the PS3.
@GrandDragon, yes I do know the team behind it, and it is not up to FFX standards, it has been gimped, FFX was linear but at least it had towns, the story was detailed and unique, and the battle system was one of the best in the series, although I must admit FF8 by far is my favorite.
parasite eve was on my list until i read this, why SE do you have to spoil almost everything you touch, i mean a third person shooter will not work well on psp, and incase you did not know there is a lot of hate on re4 and re5 for going down that route, the original idea with updated graphics would have been much much better.

Before bashing people have to remember that this is just a demo of the battle system alone, as long as the open world is large and explorable you will not hear me complaining, however if this is linear like this all the way through then yes that could be a problem.
As for the battle system, I figured it out really quickly, and I also though it was a nice change having real time and turn based actions mixed in, plus some of the stunts you can pull off is crazy. I found it very addictive ...
I am betting that he really did not have access to a PS, his is just a way of trying to making Sony look bad by trying to associate it with terrorists (its a typical American stunt to pull and normally is BS)
If you are a POW you really get the worst treatment, I 'm pretty sure they don't have human rights for POW's over there, not like in our prison's, were they get all the pleasure's in the world even though they are criminals...

it's ok they have had such a bad year they have nothing else to keep them busy and happy apart from spreading FUD, PS3 is going to give xbox 360 a beating in 2010, Sony will have lots of plans for Christmas 2010,don't worry, they always come up with a load of AAA games to keep us all busy and broke might I add

You all better pray that Natal is not successful, as it will not be able to allow you to interact with hardcore games, this mean M$ will have to abandon the core users just like Ninty did with their base, this strategy is going to back fire big time as seen as all of their user base is mainly hardcore.

@snukatheman, your info is wrong uncharted 2 sold over 1 million in two weeks, it is now standing a 2.3 million, only 200k below what ND actually want from sales for this game, Uncharted 2 is far from a flop.

I agree with you, plus don't forget M$ came into the business with two priorities:
1. Make loads of $$
2. Get rid of Sony
M$ does not care about the industry, they only care about being the one in control of everything and making loads of money.
what fantasy land do you live in?? you do realize this game was far better before it went multi-platform, now as a result a lot of people are disapointed at how much it has been gimped...
All 360 fans need to read the above post which proves not everything sells well on the x360, infact the same game TOV came to PS3 later and already has sold just as much.PS3 caters to a wide range of users, X360 caters to people who love shooters (as proved by halo, mw2, bioshock, gears as they are the games that have sold better than most games on the X360)
