I think you are getting mixed up with the PsEye it is capable of 60fps 1:1 motion control(with the psWands), and sometimes it can do 120fps (at a reduced resolution)
Natal can only do 30fps, and will have a 10-15% extra demand on cpu, and lag time was 200ms before taking out the internal chip, now it is due to even more lag with the x360 doing the work.
The only thing different about natal is the fact it can track up to four people, but at a huge cost, if you have not already seen...

you know what really is ironic about the sales data, is how they always overtrack x360 sales and undertrack ps3 sales to make it seem that x360 is still fine, but in reality that gap is not so big now, MS keeps on lying, but that won't change the fact that it is inevitable for the PS3 to overtake the x360 by 2011.
for those of you who don't know Natal was designed to be an Input Device for operating Systems, so of course it really is not going to be as good as MS are hyping it to be, it will have as much success as the original Eye Toy did, but it will not win the console war and it will not allow it to dominate over Sony either, sony have the PS Wand out early to combat Natal, by the time Natal comes it will be too late
yes they will experience alot of lag due to that issue, heck we already have seen evidence of the clear input lag on some of the demo videos.
The new motion controls on the PSEye do run at 120fps, and trust me it will be alot faster than natal because the calculations needed to be made for motion controls are far lass complicated.
Let me just point out this what do you think will take more time
1. Code to track several PsWands (detecting it's place in 3D Space, and it's current angle and velocity)
2. Or Code to track several parts of the human body (up to 4 people)
