It is weird how Nintendo handhelds have always been inferior to their competitors, for example the sega game gear was alot better than the gameboy, but we all know how that one turned out, again the same thing happened with PSP vs DS, DS rules the roost, but PSP is selling enough to ensure its place on the market (it is not has been discontinued like other handheld devices).
If xbox games are so superior then how come no xbox game has won a GOTY for two years, xbox fans can spin all they want, but even the media agrees that the PS3 is the superior machine, and any that say otherwise are often paid by M$ to purposely lie and mislead people into thinking the xbox360 is the best thing on this planet
yeah people forget the ps2 was truly the first one to get motion controls with eye toy, yes the games was limited, and nintendo just really innovated and made something more practical, which Sony has now copied and done. I think what ND is saying is that if they are going to do a motion control game they want to do it right, and not just produce some piece of shovelware just for the sake of making quick bucks
Seriously I played on this game on both PS3 and X360, it really is rubbish, it is far too easy, the camera angles can be awkward, and the graphics are not exactly the best I have seen. I wonder how many extra points it got just for having a Women as the leading character??
You know what really is hurting this games sales, it is piracy, Wii is far too easy to hack and to play backed up games from your hard drive, so rather than buying this spin off, people will just download it and pirate it instead, the ones that still care about core gaming on the wii.
Z-Pack is 100% fake, I mean look at the clock it magically turns back time after the installation process, what I think happened is they did some recording and edited it make it look real, that is why it was dark and the ps3 was upside down, not to mention the stupid dialog window that looked like something off windows xp.
I see MS has been copying Sony again what do you think PS Cloud was eventually going to do, and yes it was going to allow you to play on HD Games without needing the hardware. Seriously can Microsoft create anything without copying from another company??
don't you hate it when the internet gets your hopes up for a ff vii remake only to find out the truth several week/s later, I should have know better the whole ff vii remake theory has been thron around 1 times too many now, and I'm getting upset (to put it politely). so here is my message, Media, quit hyping for a remake unless it's a fact ok
@kewlkat007 - yup ever since the big bust up after the merge between square and enix took place, final fantasy has not been the same, we all knew it was because Sakaguchi & Uematsu left. Not to mention wada prefers money over producing quality titles so go figure, as a result the company image has been damaged and you cannot rely on SE to deliver quality titles anymore
I'm going to laugh when natal flops big time, it is just an ps eye with slight improvements. expect to see lots of mini styled games like the ones that showed up on PS2 when the ps eye was first released. Natal is behind by 10 years lol.
Most of us can find dumb games like that, which sell loads despite being shovelware, did not Wii Music (2.86m) sell more than quite alot of X360 AND PS3 games?? does it mean it's better, no it does not. final fantasy 13 SOLD 1.5 MILLION IN A DAY! that alone proves the PS3 can cater to a wider audience than the xbox 360, just wait till star ocean comes out, it is guaranteed at least 1mil LTD sales
I think the PS3 version is definitely going to sell more than the X360 in America and Europe, come march 2010 SE should definitely see the advantage of now just developing for the PS3.
I can't remember who was in charge, but what I do remember is there was a huge bust up after the merge with Enix, alot of staff left(including the father of FF), to form Mistwalker so they could develop the games they had envisioned for years (yet got denied). This may explain why Final Fantasy is not the same anymore, because they have lost quite a few of their original staff, it also might explain why Lost Odyssey feels like the real next Final Fantasy instead of the later editions (...

Wada is killing SE slowly, the reason why the Japanese audience is getting smaller for FF is because they keep on adding more and more western features, if they go back to their roots I am sure they will get all their original fans back, plus some of us US/EU fans that love the original JRPG's. Making FF a western developed game is a very bad idea, western games really do not sell very well in Japan (normally)

at least if they get close to being bankrupt it might wake them up again, like last time with final fantasy 1, that game saved square back in the day
