i can't believe there was no pokemon game on that list. Man i would love a pokemon snap 2 or new pokemon stadium for my new wii u but everything else looks solid. Would also really love an hd remake of mario sunshine and lugui's mansion.

i agree with you, i haven't bought a mario kart since 64 and mario kart 8 is truly one of the funniest experiences i have had with any video games. Playing local coop with other people online is soooo good, i don't remember the last time i had laughed so hard from playing a game.

yea cross gen does seem very odd to me, especially with it being a first party game. All next gen systems need their first party games to be next gen only so it will give gamers a reason to pick up the new consoles. Nintendo is doing it also with smash bros being on the wii u and 3ds, which gives people less of a reason to buy a wii u.
man i hope they can trick out the next gen version while still having to cater to last gen. I might sound sick but i want to see some really gruesome kills in the next gen version with legit organs and physics that make all the blood and organs fall out of the body realistically but i am optimistic since it is cross gen

Mario kart is the best game that has released this year bar none. I haven't played a mario kart since the 64 but man mk8 has sunk its hook in me and it won't come out.
As much as i love my ps4 i do have to agree with you incendy, disappointed isn't the word i would use, more on the lines of not very interesting yet. I knew going into buying a console day 1 that there would be a very limited selection of games but i bought one anyways soley off the hype of next gen. Had killzone and infamous and really did enjoy them but finished infamous in a week and killzone in 3 months.
But now is about the time that the AAA games start to come ...

man mario kart is soooo good. I basically bought it day 1 because of the free game deal but damn i didn't think it would have me hooked like it does really fun game and for me personally the best game this year so far.
I actually just bought my wii u with Mario kart 8 over the weekend and i am very very pleased with my purchase. I got the super mario bros deluxe console with mario kart 8, the free game pikmen3 and just bought zombiu off of amazon for $13, and i want to get zelda wind waker, scribblenaunts unlimited, wonderful 101, donkey kong and mario 3d world.
After buying it and doing research on all the games the wii u has i personally feel the wii u is a better buy then the other two...

Frigid, there is a big difference between selling 5 million to stores and selling 5 million to customers. The ps4 has sold 7 million units to customers, where as the x1 has sold 5 million units to stores just collecting dust on the shelves. The x1 has prolly sold 4.1 million if you look had all the evidences, so there are more than 3 million people with a ps4 than a x1. I believe its a combination of things, yea the competition has a price tag of a hundred dollars more, the ps4 is more powerful then the more expensive X1 and the fact that Microsoft ruined their reputation with the reveal of the x1 being only about TV and the whole DRM fiasco. I don't understand all the doom and gloom for the wii u. It sold 6 million units in a year, which is by no means great but its decent, it doesn't have to beat the competition to be a profitable console. With a lot of its first party games selling in the millions,i think the wii u will be like the gamecube, might be last in the console race sales wise but it will have more gems on it then the other consoles.
