Tekolie, thanks for proving my point most of them games that you just listed released in middle to late may and all of them except infamous are and transistor are all cross gen garbo games. Try harder next time
Yes Tekolie recently released and transistor and wolfenstein released real close to watch dog and they were the first games in a couple of months that the ps4 and xbone has gotten. Sorry but there was a drought, i haven't turned on my ps4 since infamous and i beat that game in a week. The drought might be gone with the new releases of may but it was looking like the africa safari for a while.
the Wii u is not dead, people like to compare next gen sell and since wii u is last and release early they think its dead. I can guarantee the wii u might come in last place in sells but it will have more gems then the ps4/xbone.
The hardware boost will obviously be low considering its Japan. Do a little research and it will show that consoles are almost obsolete in Japan. So many people playing mobile games over there, it is ridicules. If there will be any boost in hardware sells its probably gonna come from North America and Europe.
Darth, sorry to tell you but you are the minority that thinks mario kart 8 isn't great, also you act like mario kart 8 is the only game the wii u has do a little research and you will know that the wii u has plenty amazing exclusives to go with mario kart 8. So its just not one game thats gonna save the wii u, its gonna be its amazing line up of exclusives, which will be more exclusives then ps4/xbone will have after their out a year
I never got a 3ds but have a vita, ps4 and wii u and wii u is by far my favorite console this generation. And of the looks of it the 3ds tons more of nintendo goodness then the wii u, so i could see why its your favorite.
Man i hope they go all out and i expect nothing but the goods from them. Just bought my wii u and mario kart 8 and can't wait for Smash Bros and X. Hoping for mario sunshine HD, luigi mansion HD, a pokemon game, obviously new Zelda, maybe a metroid or star fox and at least 1 new IP. LEGOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Yep new wii u owner here bought the mario bros u deluxe, got mario kart and pikmin 3 for free and bought zombiu for $13 off amazon. All I can say is that I wish i bought this system earlier. It has sooooo many good games on it, if only people would educate themselves and research them exclusives this things got, because the amount it has after only a a year on the market is amazing. i will probably be the minority but i love the wii u gamepad. I actually bought a pro controller because of everybody saying its the bee's knees and shit and surprise, surprise i don't even use it because the gamepad feels perfect for me.

man truth i have to tell you the whole argument that the wii u is underpowered and graphics are what makes games is so old now. I have a ps4 and i regret buying it so early. I was hyped when i saw killzone and infamous at E3 2013 and they were the prettiest games i have ever seen, guess what? I played killzone for 2 months and infamous for 1 week. These "next gen games" feel like last gen games with a new coat of paint.

Well then buy a wii u for all of its exclusives,(mario bros u, luigi u, mario 3d world, donkey kong tf, wonderful101, pikmin3, zombiu, mario kart 8, zelda wind waker hd, scrbblenaunts unlimited and dc universe, monster hunter 3 ultimate, nintendo land, lego city, sonic lost world) and more that i can't think of, so mario kart can be the system seller then people can look at all the games that the wii u has and then can become less jaded.
yellowgerbil, how can you tell this game looks amazing? Have you seen gameplay yet, because i hate to break it to you but that trailer is nothing but CGI, it has gameplay elements in it like environment weapons and fatalities but the trailer will look nothing like the actual game. Especially considering it is cross gen game and its running on Unreal Engine 3 instead of 4 don't get your hopes up on this game being a next gen looker
I am very disappointed with this game. They basically took THQ undisputed's code and just gave it a new coat of paint and a couple new animations. You can tell by how the players react to punches and how they throw them. It might be a new engine for graphics and a couple new mechanics but the code is basically the same as the old games, which disappoints me considering they said this game is built brand new from the ground up.
I can guarantee that it is selling so well because of the draught. You release watch dogs in the fall when a lot of other next gen games are out, it wouldn't have sold as well.
palaeomerus i would have to kinda agree on some of your points,i have a ps4 since launch and even though infamous and killzone were good games, i finished infamous in a week and killzone in 2 months. My friend has an xbox1 and i have played titanfall, ryse and dead rising3 and and truly those games wouldn't last me a month. Zidane, I think you won't regret the wii u purchase at all my man. I just bought one for mario kart 8 and got pikman3 for free, and i also have super mario bros u which is awesome. I want to get wonderful 101, mario 3d world, scribblenaunts unlimited, zelda windwaker hd, donkey kong tf, and zombiu, so there are a lot of games to choose from. I also have a ps4 since launch and have to admit that the wii u is by far my favorite console of the 8th generation by a mile so far.
lol baccra you do know that it took Killzone a whole months to sell a million copies worldwide, it took infamous SS a week to sale 1 million worldwide, and it took ryse and dead rising the same amount of time to sell a million as killzone worldwide and these are on brand new consoles. So yea you sound like a dumbo because mario kart 8 is on a year old console that is underpowered compared to the others and still will outsell all their games
I just got me wii u and i love the miiverse. I can't believe it isn't a selling point of the console. I never even heard of it until i bought the console. I love chatting with a community of different wii u games, something only done on the wii u, and to be able to talk to the nintendo community about e3 while its happening is great.
