What's with the rumor mill lately. Maybe news is so slow that people are making up BS. I can't see any other reason for the rumors on xbox 360 HDMI 120 gig, Capcom being bought out, Warhawk being cancelled. This is getting ridiculous.
A lot of us have jobs doofus. We're surfing the net while at work. Ever wonder why the attach rate for 360 owners is so high? It's because most 360 owners are an older demographic with good income jobs who can afford purchasing many games.
when few games were running at 640 x480 over the standard 320 x 240. Most games were not "high-resolution" because it took too much ram. My guess is most (95%) PS3 games will be 720p because the sacrifice isn't worth it.
I'm sure your area is sold out but if you were actively seeking a PS3 ONLINE you would have known in the past, it was available at BestBuy.com or Amazon for a good length of the day. The amount of posts and time you spent on 360 news on this website implies that the real reason you don't have a PS3 is because either you can't afford one or the games out on PS3 suck. I think Wii is going to have a larger install base than 360 by next Christmas. I'm thinking of getting one and they're still ridiculously difficult to find. It's good for the industry when moms and girlfriends all of a sudden gain a new interest in videogames
I just wait for game prices to go down, that or purchase new games online. Most games are going to be discounted to half the price if you wait a year. Look at sports games (nba2k7 for 360 just dropped today to $39.99 after being out for less than half a year), PGR3, and some holiday specials. Target had GOW, THP8 for $40 and Best Buy had R6, Splinter Cell for $40 at some point within the last month. How did this avoid litigation issues with Sony. I'm pleasantly surprised this is getting ported over to 360. Still, I hope this game will be worth more than 200 achievement points for the scope of the game.
I love the update, nade taggers are much more vulnerable now. Is it me or does the chainsaw have an increased range now? I'm getting sawed a lot more often. But this could be due to rank players playing more player matches with their friends.
I think the game looks pretty good, but the sense of speed is slow as hell.
The VP can blame it on discounts if he wants, but the truth of the matter is that what drove the 360 sales was Gears of War. I bought a 360 2 weeks before it came out so that I could play the game. GOW is a system seller whether or not this VP wants to acknowledge it.
I think an ipod has its place as a seperate device. From the picture (unless those are small ass hands) the iphone looks a little too big in my opinion. I might be the minority but to me, it looks like a PSP with phone functionality. Sure the screen is damn pretty, but do you really want all those fingerprints and scratches from phone use, when you also use it to view movies?

I agree that it is probably photoshopped. They should be offering a bigger size of the file too. I consider myself advanced at photoshop and cropping a picture onto another is one of the easiest things to do. The lighting on the HDMI port is off. How is it that we can see the inside of the HDMI port, but not the ethernet port? When it comes to cropping in photoshop, lighting is the most important element.
I doubt this is going to happen, but I think this would be a good idea. Game compatibility issues, and having 3 PS3 systems at different prices might be too much. I would definitely consider purchasing one in the future if it was 399 or lower. I don't want lame-ray in it.

Technically yes it was confirmed at CES, but they confirmed it as a prototype they're working on as well as many others. It is not to be released "soon" as the rumor suggested though.
