Man that looks horrible, this game looks like last gen.
I just want to know more about it. Unless I've been out of the loop, I only recall seeing that cinematic of the girl with blades for her arms. I mean definitely excited it's CD Projekt Red, but more info would be nice.

Yea it's kinda funny that the graphics remind me of Mass Effect 1-3 with little tweaks here and there. I mean the first reveal of gameplay looked great and then we get this.
Most definitely. Which really sucks because the game had a lot of potential, something that has never been done before, but damn those ubisoft servers are horrible.

Ha the fluid combat, you mean the insane autoaim the game has, where arrows curve like bullets in wanted. Witcher 3 had very fluid combat, horizon is ok. How about this, why can you not change the aim sensitivity on Horizon? They maybe fluid to you but I want to adjust, to have a third person shooter controls with no sensitivity option is just dumb.
Yea no way is that true. Horizon is a great game but still has problems like any other game.
Actually there are a ton of articles that state that horizon is the best this and that. I'm not saying zelda is perfect here, but people need to stop putting so much stock in someone else's opinion, because everyone has a little bit of bias, can't help that.

We are nowhere near photo realism. Movies can't even get there perfectly yet and you think games will be there in three years? Not gonna happen yet. Give it another 10 years and we will be getting closer.
We will definitely not hit photo realism this generation or next generation. All you need to do is look at current pixar movies, those are close but still not photo realistic, some parts are. I say we still have at least two console generations to go before we get close.

If anything sony is holding the industry back. Yea they have the games and like to do graphics, but they don't innovate. At least nintendo tries, I mean it usually sucks, but they try. Sony just makes a game console, and when they "innovate" they copy off other companies.
Never been a fan of Jim Sterling, has that holier than thou attitude. That being said 7 out of 10 is not a bad score, but everyone's right, sony fanboys went ape shit when uncharted 4 had the same thing happen. Now we shall see if people will defend when a good reviewer gives Horizon a 7 out of 10 since that's what it deserves. I don't think any game deserves a perfect 10.
Ah so your the neutral one that doesn't pick a side. Trust me when I say that video games need defended; if the older generation had not defended gaming back when it was "just for nerds" it wouldn't be where it is today. And the article is looking for validation and shoehorning. Hell we have had female leads for awhile, starting with Samus. My point is defend your gaming hobby.
With having just bought a 4k tv I can definitely say that yes it is the future for gaming, then onto 8k. But it does look amazing.
