I will say I felt the same way, until I recently got a 4k tv. All I can say is it is the next wave for gaming, looks amazing. And all I've seen so far is gears of war 4, and then some 4k videos on youtube, and it is definitely worth it. Wonder if any of these people realize that if microsoft or sony drops from the console market, then they next companies to jump in will be either apple, google, or amazon. Yea feels like a christmas where you never get what you want. All you get are socks and underwear, how about we have the devs that make lootbox games have to open a box to determine their salary at random, would that feel like christmas? You'll be lucky if you get a costume in overwatch after opening 10 loot boxes.

All I gotta say is it's about damn time. Always loved jrpg's but in recent years they stagnated with no real cutscenes, just character busts talking, glad they are improving, love em.

Having just gotten a 4k tv and seeing some games that upscale and youtube videos of games in 4k, it is definitely something game companies need to focus on. Looks absolutely amazing, only problem I found with 4k is with older movies. Even in HD the older movies look like they are filmed with a handheld device since the resolution is so high.

You can like it all you want Ashlen, but that doesn't change the fact there is a lot wrong with the game. The animations I can get past, a little jarring but can get over it. But the rpg elements are bad, you gain a level your health goes up and you pick a power, that's not much of an rpg. Agreed. I loved my vita, but there just weren't enough games to keep me invested. Did love how it worked like ps3 and you could download and play psx titles.
Lol @captian and kid. Again none of you work with computers, an OS navigation can change everything and of course I have a ps4, gotta get my jrpg fix in somewhere. Your fanboy side is showing, the ps4 OS is very basic and reminds me of a mac OS, which if you talk to anyone in tech, mac OS sucks, no one in tech likes apple products.

You really think the search function on psn is actually good? Well to each their own, but working in IT I can say that the ps4 is too weird and not streamlined; it's better now, but when it first came out it was horrible. I mean it's the same as the psp OS, so that should say something.
I'm guessing you don't work on a lot of computers. As far as GUI's go for an OS xbox is pretty nice and neat. Now Playstation's OS, my god that one is a nightmare for finding stuff.
It's still a little buggy, but the app is great, much much better than twitch. First there is only about a 1 second delay between the streamer and the viewer; also there are many more features like interactive chat rooms; i.e. people in chat can vote for what the streamer should do in a game.
I don't get how everyone keeps calling Horizon an RPG; it isn't. If Horizon is an RPG then far cry 3 and 4 are rpg's as well.

Not taking much stock in this. Nintendo will always have a special place in my heart, but nowadays their consoles just aren't up to par. This will sell just as well as the wii and wii u, but no one will really pay attention after awhile.
