Like the new character, but she is way overpowered. Main thing that sucks is no reload for her gun, it just keeps shooting.
The jet packs and the movement feels more like titanfall or call of duty than it does with mass effect. It just feels more action oriented then tactical. That is fine as well, action is cool, but I wanted an RPG like in the old mass effects where you could pause the action and plan out your attack with your squadmates, that was a neccessity for the higher difficulties.
That's cool that you like it, but this is one of those times where I think it does suck and I'm a huge mass effect fan. It's not just the animations for me; the voice acting is just bad, the dialogue is cringe inducing for me, and the combat feels too much like titanfall 2. I'm glad your enjoying it but just because the media says there are things wrong doesn't mean it's a bandwagon. I usually love games the media hates.

Yea but what your talking about is competition, not toxicity. That was just people going back and forth on which console is better, and it was a lot better back then. Most kids I knew didn't care who had what console, we just wanted to see it. Bottom line is gaming is no more "toxic" then football fans are or any kind of fan for that matter.

Oh yea, cuz I was so nervous when we found out Metroid starred a female character. It's not about female characters it's about pandering, plus regardless of what people say females are still not the biggest demographic for gaming. Normally I would agree, but in this instance pachter is wrong. And if you want an example just look at gamefly. No one thought that would succeed and now it is huge. Gamers always want easier access to games, I'll admit them not having new games will kinda suck, but I believe this will do good as gamefly for gamers.
Probably longer than 6 months. You can't just patch an animation you have to make it over again and replace the animation that is there. They would essentially have to reanimate all the faces, and that's close to remaking the game. You figure they have tons of characters that have dialogue and talk, that's a lot to fix.

He's right it's not hyperbole, the game could definitely run on last gen consoles. The only thing that might need a little downgraded is the environments, cuz those are the only thing that look good.
