The only thing that make it impossible for the time being is the fact that sony got a timed (1 year) exclusive for MGS4. If you compress the sound and cut sences you could probably fit mgs4 on 1 maybe 2 dvds. The sound is a complete waste any ways as only about 1% of the people have a HD surround sound system in their homes. Even if it took 4-5 disc that not a big deal if you made a list of the greatest games of all time. Probably half of them be multi disc game. How many disc did FF7 have ? ...
to be honest all the pc were pretty boring this year. MS tries to focus their E3 on show game that will be out by the end of the year they kind of use e3 to start hyping their games up for the holiday rush. Sony focus on game that are so far off that you forget about them by the time they actually come out nintendo show of wave after wave of crappy fads every year if it wasnt for the vc the wii would of been a complete waste of money
@pizzas FF13 might be a "port" for the 360 but it will be release the same time as the ps3 version in NA and the UK. The 360 is the lead system for rpg's this time around.
Kleptic if you liked FF7 I'd strong suggest giving Lost Odyssey a try it might not be as good as FF7 but it was one of the most enjoyable jrpgs I've played in a long time. The style and way they told the story was really cool however the story wasnt epic or anything but was really bad either
I might have to get a new elite (my 360 is almost 3 years old anyways) I'd agree that I dont really care for the new look or about the avatars but a lot of the new features sound really good
I think you can still call it a fad just cause its a bit longer then most fads doesnt mean its not a fad. Think about things like Power ranger they were the hottest thing around for 3 or 4 years and now they are all but forgotten. Ninja Turtles same thing (tho they seem to be making a bit of a come back) or how about ghostbusters ? yes the wii is right up their with furby and tickle me elmo.
I already played it on my 360 and it looks really good but the actual gameplay and story suck hardcore. I actually fond myself trying to make it through the rest of the game just to get the achievement for beating it. Yes the game is that god awful
They are still getting FF13 and they also have GoW3 so I dont see how you can say that ps3 owner have nothing to hope for. It just that now 360 owners have a lil more to look forward to. And people that own both system like me well it actually charges nothing other then now I could pick it up on my 360 instead of my ps3 if I wanted.
It matters a great deal to sony. There are still a ton of people waiting to upgrade to a ps3 or 360. A lot of people will look at the games that are coming out or already out. When they look at the 360 they will see games like Halo, Gears, Mass Effect, GTA4, CoD4, DMC4, Star Ocean 4 and now FF13. When they look at game on the PS3 They will see GoW3 (if its out), MGS4, GTA4, CoD4, DMC4, and FF13. Plus the 360 is a 100 dollars cheaper. So ya this will hurt the ps3 sells alot
Its not you that list is missing a ton of game the is no Too Human, No Infinite Undiscovery, No Splinter Cell: Convictionan dtons of other games are missing too
SE is in the video game Business and the key word there is BUSINESS. Its all about making money SE drop nintendo when sony offfer it more money now its doing the same to sony now that MS has more money. Well it not dropping them complete like the did with nintendo at least. Anyways I wouldnt count on FFV13 staying exclusive either no matter what they say
Cant say that I like the avatars but how is it a rip off of Mii ? They didnt invent avatars they've had a number of programs on the pc that have used avatars for years now. Oh well I still think most of the new features for the new UI look really cool
I've never had a problem paying 50 dollars for the 13 months of XBL. Don get me wrong I'd be just as happy as the next guy to get it for free. However the upgrades they are doing are very nice the 8 people party has to be my favorite I play mostly with real friends and the one on one pravite chat make it hard to get everyone one the same page.
Doesnt matter what the sells are on the other game FF13 will be on the 360 its a done deal. As for the topic I'd say that it be likely that they will port it in japan to the ps3 and it will stay exclsuive in that states and uk

Just look at all the fanboys that suddenly hate FF when they were all saying it was one of the greatest games of all time a few days ago. Plus MS has actually created a lot of new IP's in the short time they been in gaming. GoW, Forza , Fable, Viva Pinata , Lost Odyssey and of course Halo are just a few of the new Hit IP's they created
ps3 isnt dead but it might be on life support after this. Like it or not that was a HUGE MASSIVE blow to sony. Star ocean 4 is already a 360 exclusive The only good news to come out of this is that they are not porting FF13 to the 360 in japan. MS has gotten almost every big 3rd party title that was once exclsuive to ps to go over to the 360 camp. The only one that they didnt get is MGS4 (then again that could just be a matter of time).

well are 3 pc could of put you to sleep. Sony had the least boring show but MS had bigger and better annoucement.
