MS has said for a long time that their goal is to have the next xbox out by the 2011 or 2012. However the writer of the article obviously is only guessing and for the most part doing it very poorly. Chris actually the 360 is leading in the Pal area sony said they were use there in house tracking numbers and they included place like south africa as part of the pal area to raise there numbers. MS showed using independent tracking companies that they were still leading in the pal area.

This is only the 2nd price cut in 3 years and it only been cut by a total of 100 dollars. So ms is probably making a profit of each system sold. The ps3 drop their price 200 dollars in the 1st year and it was costing them almost 300 more to make the ps3 then they were selling it for when it came out.
