That number will shoot up when the 360 release the new bashboard with netflix. However it might drop right back off depending on how good it is.
@meep I halfway agree with you. I think most people will always want to own a disc but I think DD could easily become the standard for rentals. Its just much easier to pick out a movie online and download it is to get in a car go to a video store and then take it back when your down. People are cheap and lazy so anything that is cheap...

Its funny how fanboys say there is a "HUGE" difference when the truth is blu ray is only slightly better then dvd so slight that the average joe cant even tell the difference when they are looking at the 2 side by side. I have a couple of blu ray movies (got them free with my ps3) and sure they look nice but I wouldnt pay 10 -20 more for that slight improvement in picture and i wouldnt buy movies that I already own for that slight improvement (well maybe LotR and Star wars)

@DarkBlood actually the 32x and Saturn had a late to do with the downfall of the dreamcast and Sega. Sega made one of the biggest screw up in gaming history. They told the us to dev a 32bit add on for the gensis and told japan at the sametime to dev a stand alone 32 bit system. In the end they decide to only support the stand alone (aka Satrun) but by the time they told the us about it they were already to far in dev of the 32x to pull the plug on it so they were force to release the system. ...
Sega systems were always ahead of their time. Gensis 1st HD system. Saturn I believe was 1st system to use dual processors and DC was the 1st one to have an online gaming.

blu ray is already dead think about it there is about 1 blu ray disc sold for every 5 blu ray player that have been sold.
Not sure a lightsaber be are that painful. It be about like being cut by a laser I'd think you could cut off an arm or something and sure it hurt but you wont have the massive amount of blood pouring out of you leading you to a slow and painful death like you would with a normal sword.

I fairly sure that the ps3 had the highest (not counting the wii) sales for 4 months this year and the 360 had the highest the other 4 months. So they have been really fighting it out till this point. However the 360 just effectively shut the ps3 out for the rest of the year. Reburn makes another good point and if you look at the history of even just sega you can see how the price points effect sales. The Saturn was released at a price point of 399 and while there were other factors involved it was a huge failure. I've move around a lot and I have never lived in anyplace that has more then one cable company. So if you dont like the cable company your pretty much stuck with a dsl that is a lot slower. Even if only 1 million people got it that less then 1/20 on the 360 owners.
