How can you possibly be a heavy hitter in this industry and stray away from technological progression like this? Tons of indie devs are getting by just fine on the PS3, not to mention damn near every other notable company in the industry has/is working on the PS3.
I really hope they're just hiding a contractual agreement or Gabe's Microsoft loyalties with this excuse, because I always thought of Valve in much higher regards than this. They're making themselves look like amateur...
They're acting so incredibly petty and childish. Their game wasn't even on my radar before, now it is, as a negative blip. They're staining their own image more than Polyphony or GT's.

I've been in the betas for MGO, R2, LBP, KZ2, and Home. The only one I've played more than this was KZ2. UC2 multi is really fun, nothing feels 'tacked on'.
The PS3 restart when you quit is very annoying, but aside from that I haven't run into too many bugs. Some clipping issues, and I've experienced a couple resets during the game where the screen goes black and everyone is returned to their base spawn for the match to continue.
Should just avoid announcing these things so early, but I suppose they didn't expect it to take so long. Looks like a good game, probably my favorite from the Microsoft conference.
They had a better lineup last year, and it's looking the same way this year. Already have Killzone 2, MLB 09', and inFamous on the market. Uncharted 2, MAG, and Ratchet will just seal the deal. Bit early to make this assumption, but I have a feeling Uncharted 2 is gonna be my favorite game of the year. It was my favorite showing of E3, with the single player looking totally outta control awesome, and I can't stop playing the beta.

Do it like that 2D MMO, MapleStory. Give the game away for free, and load it up with bullshit you can buy if you choose to do so. Nexon's gotta be making at least 5x their nut on that game from the Cash Shop. They should also make it for PC, and arrange for both versions to be played in the same space, giving the game a much bigger base of players.

These are the fruits of Turn 10's rampant GT bashing, to be publicly compared to GT5, to be considered on the same comparable level as Gran Turismo.
