You know what's really funny? A lot of the staunch 360 extremists around here who fap at NPD sales are European.
"He refers to a development conference Microsoft held not so long ago in which Peter Molyneux of Fable fame (presently, creative director at Microsoft Game Studios) took the stage and attempted to demo the publisher's much-publicized Milo Natal project. Molyneux apparently called someone from the audience to the stage and asked them to interact with the virtual boy, but it didn't go to plan. Natal's camera failed to see the person accurately because he was wearing a black trench coat. Af...
That was pretty funny, especially after the excited buildup from the guy on the mic.
N4PS3G didn't FIND a blog post, he WROTE a blog post. This is his blog. You won't catch me defending motion anything, as I think it's all trash, but this is 100% unadulterated fanboy filth. It's essentially what you'd get if Nasim wrote a blog about Natal, except you'll probably find a little less truth here.
Great. Sony and Microsoft both devolving with motion controls this fall with the push of a "new console launch". Should make for a facepalm-heavy holiday season. Hoping to see some hot flying controller on TV screen action at some point during this presentation.
15 hours for a sandbox-style game is pitiful. Devs/publishers always exaggerate game time, too.
Wii Fit was the first thing that popped into my head.
I want game announcements, but I think it's almost entirely gonna be a mix of motion and 3D stuff.
Yeah, it was a long time ago. They added a beginner difficulty. Easy enough for me to complete the game. Couldn't get past the 2nd level on the easiest difficulty pre-patch.
I prefer 6 the 2D-ish way it is now.
I honestly don't think SquareEnix has the talent to remake FFVII anymore.
The first game was F*CKING HARD!
...until they patched it with easier difficulty levels.
Microsoft likely locked down the marketing rights along with the bundle when the deal to bring it to 360 was made.
They gave MGS4's story 8.something. I remember because it was nearly a full point lower than Halo 3's "SciFi movie-of-the-week" story.
GT has severe consistency issues, but so do many other reviewers. Innovation is NECESSARY (for PS3 exclusives). Their parent company does have a $500 million ad contract with Microsoft, so it does throw some things into question, but I'd sooner chalk it up to having really lousy review staff. There certainly seems to be a cap of arou...
That's kinda funny, considering DICE's explanation on a lack of 360 beta was that "XBL is rock solid" (or something to that point). Sucks for players effected by it.
Two parts of the final boss fight are already on YouTube. I would have left last week if I were the spoiler dodging type.
Hilarious article. Poorly written and all but maybe 2 or 3 of the reasons are just awful. #1 is blatant denial of reality, or ignorance of the PS3's existence. Take your pick.
Guessed 2 of the approvals correctly, too. N4PS3G and green are so predictable. Cramming their agenda through no matter what.
The gory finish is just mind-blowing. I'm actually pretty amazed that they got to keep that in the game. So impressed with Sony Santa Monica, and I can't praise them enough for what they've built here.
End of the Cronos battle is INSANE! The gore is off the charts.

Played Marathon on my Mac waaaaay back in the day. Would really rather they do a new IP.
